Even after your case is settled, don't start spending that money. And even though they keep just short of HALF the money you've been awarded by the court-Sokolove will hold on to​ your money month after month with one excuse then another meanwhile gathering interest on that award money. They will have you redo paperwork you sent in months ago. It's been months since I was told it was being sent to 'finance' to cut my check. But now I have to have them send me a release to sign. I filled out their online intake form and received a voice mail message the following morning. When I tried to return the call, the representative who answered the phone said she did not know anyone by the name that had been left for me to contact. When that same representative asked what it was about and I mentioned a famous class action lawsuit, she had no idea what I was referencing. Next, I tried their "live" chat with someone named Ed who, regardless of my questions repeated the same sentence every time "...please give me your telephone number/email address and I'll have someone get back to you." Very bad experience they forwarded my claim without knowledge of doing to so the environmental litigation group. Didn't think twice about it until I received the worst service of my life. The group they forwarded me to. Lost things, found them and then told me everything was received may and then this week in June. I called to see how the lawsuit was going. They said you forgot a packet sent to you in feburary. We are in June. Only reason I knew is because I called. Forwarded my claim to a second rep in the environmental litigation group. Then the lady called me after leaving two messages. Doesn't know what going on unprepared and unprofessional. Then I'm like do you have the packet are you sending us a new one? I don't know o just received the case. Okay but you called me could have researched before hand. I said not my problem and not looking for excuses looking for answers and stated my father died recently and continues to fight with me back and forth and I said we are just looking to know what we need to do. She then told me she's transferring the case to a third rep. Day after I called left a message, nothing called this morning day after that was told the packet was sent Feb 9th and they are dropping my case. No reasoning why. I had to call for them to tell me that. I did send a email to the old rep to show the frustration and I'm sure most could understand our frustration. Called Sokolove and they wanted to send a email to them the environmental litigation group to reconsider me. I said no and I'm calling to let you know the experience we had. I said just make sure all evidence is sent back to us. The amount of work we did. Countless hours getting the medical records getting stuff signed and just know you are better off not using Sokolove they forward your claim for asbestos to a group that doesn't care about you or what happened to you. Called today to get information for a family member. In-take was extremely rude. Said he could not continue without getting private information which I was not going to provide. Seemed like if you gave the info that it would be used to haunt you or contact you without agreement and that was not going to happen if I could help it. BTW, I spoke to two other attorneys at two highly ranked law firms, both spoke to me, told me there was a case very rough estimate of what likely settlement could be ( range). They also told me their fees and gave me other information. This law firm had a link for an American Cancer community site where it said click here for more info and I got this law site ( rather than info). So I was wary going in, for good reason IMO. I got a bad vibe. Won't be using them. Got a good impression from the other two law firms I spoke to. Glad to see based on reviews that my gut seems to be on target. read more

Not before saying they had someone to REFER me to months LATER. , CVS laughed at their discount card and said it would make my medicine much more expensive than I was already paying.
