The person I got was very strong and specific as to where she was massaging, and listened when I asked for softer on certain areas. I've gotten massages before that were just kind of the person ambling around pressing randomly, and that is not what I got here, luckily. She also used some kind of heated tool for 'lymphatic detoxification' she said, which felt stimulating on the legs. I asked for some extra attention to one heel and she did that. I think you need to say exactly what you want if you're looking for something specific, she understood me for the most part. I did not hear much noise from the street. But the workers do talk to each other at times and the front door has a cluster of bells. It's a bare bones but clean place.

Ok back to this review, here's the biggest issue I had with the place and why you see 3stars. They do not inform you either written or verbally that they charge a mandatory tip on top of the service. So while I was happy to tip at the end usually this is based on the service and up to the discretion of the customer. Again, if it had been written or conveyed to us in some format, that would have been ok and we could have decided what to do; however, at the end of the massage, I handed the lady a large bill to cover two foot massages for 60 min and she gave me change back. Then informed me of the mandatory tip value, I was surprised. More important, what if you bring a certain amount of money that can't cover the surprise mandatory tip at the end? People want to tip a good service, but when you surprise customers and demand it, that's when things can get awkward. I really wanted this to be the place I come weekly and recommend to others, not sure if I can now. Many things to think of regarding this surprise. Ambience - somewhat chaotic if I'm being truthful, many people coming in and out, so dont expect a quiet massage. Many people talking on the phone, customers waiting (watching videos on their phone with the audio on). Clean- better than I expected, bring your own towels if you want and maybe some wipes, because again it is covid season still. Therapists - they are really kind overall, do hard work, but again the tip thing above. I was feeling completely worn out from this month (barely sleeping because I was working so much) and I impulsively called at 7:35 to ask if they did scrubs. They had immediate availability for a full body scrub ($80 for an hour) and a full body massage ($50). I asked Lisa if she needed a break between my scrub and massage but she pressed on and really impressed me with how thorough and strong she was. I'm very weak and generally can't handle Thai massages, but what Lisa did was perfect - it wasn't quite a Thai massage, but it had elements of it. By the time she finished, I felt like a new person. The scrub was also very thorough and incorporated a lot of massaging as well (with a very nice face/neck massage at the end). I've never gotten a scrub before so I was not expecting for her to also exfoliate my chest area, but she did so very professionally. I don't mind this since it's probably how they keep their prices down. The prices are extremely reasonable for the amount of time, product and work they do. Both beds are right next to each other in what can only be described as a wide hallway (people have to walk through to get to the back). She started on me first before my nephew arrived and was brought in for his treatment. While I was getting extractions, he waited under the vapor (for longer than anyone should). While he was getting extractions, I was left waiting with a mask on. My nephew is a teenager with hormonal acne so I knew I was going to have to wait a long time before she would finish with me. After about 15-20 minutes, I used the excuse that I needed to use the bathroom to get up. While in the bathroom I noticed that the band she used to pull my hair back was stained. I can't confirm what the stains were but I have an idea of what it could be. I would have never seen it if it weren't for the fact that I got up to use the bathroom. When I returned, I watched her do extractions on my nephew for a few minutes. She used a tool I didn't recognize (it looked like a razor with a point at the end). Never once did she ask him if he was okay or he needed a break or anything at all. After waiting another 10-15 minutes, I finally told her I had to leave and she put my nephew under the vapor again while she took off the mask and finished my facial. My nephew was there for a total of TWO AND A HALF HOURS. Again, it's one thing if the 1.5-2.5 hours were all focused on you, but it's not. Half the time you're waiting for your turn. There were other things I had issues with but I think this is enough for one review.

My parents are now going there on a regular basis for their body aches and had great results. There are different staff for different purposes; they are all very professional. They explain the process thoroughly and also give us suggestions for health purposes. I do not need physical therapy, but I do go there for herbal medicine. Dr. Nikki is very knowledgeable since she has been in this field for over 30 years. The treatments and medication I received there helped regulate my period and smooth my anxiety problem.
