He went to his doctor and then to a radiologist for x-rays, and although no major fracture was visible, it's likely that he has a micro-fracture that is not easily detectable on x-rays. According to my husband, the male masseuse who was assigned to him seemed very inexperienced, and when my husband actually screamed in pain, the masseuse just left the room and didn't return. He has a high tolerance for pain and has broken bones before, but this pain has been persistent and has impacted his daily activities. I would definitely never recommend this place to anyone and wish we had paid attention to the negative reviews beforehand.

Ok back to this review, here's the biggest issue I had with the place and why you see 3stars. They do not inform you either written or verbally that they charge a mandatory tip on top of the service. So while I was happy to tip at the end usually this is based on the service and up to the discretion of the customer. Again, if it had been written or conveyed to us in some format, that would have been ok and we could have decided what to do; however, at the end of the massage, I handed the lady a large bill to cover two foot massages for 60 min and she gave me change back. Then informed me of the mandatory tip value, I was surprised. More important, what if you bring a certain amount of money that can't cover the surprise mandatory tip at the end? People want to tip a good service, but when you surprise customers and demand it, that's when things can get awkward. She started on me first before my nephew arrived and was brought in for his treatment. While I was getting extractions, he waited under the vapor (for longer than anyone should). While he was getting extractions, I was left waiting with a mask on. My nephew is a teenager with hormonal acne so I knew I was going to have to wait a long time before she would finish with me. After about 15-20 minutes, I used the excuse that I needed to use the bathroom to get up. While in the bathroom I noticed that the band she used to pull my hair back was stained. I can't confirm what the stains were but I have an idea of what it could be. I would have never seen it if it weren't for the fact that I got up to use the bathroom. When I returned, I watched her do extractions on my nephew for a few minutes. She used a tool I didn't recognize (it looked like a razor with a point at the end). Never once did she ask him if he was okay or he needed a break or anything at all. After waiting another 10-15 minutes, I finally told her I had to leave and she put my nephew under the vapor again while she took off the mask and finished my facial. My nephew was there for a total of TWO AND A HALF HOURS. Again, it's one thing if the 1.5-2.5 hours were all focused on you, but it's not. Half the time you're waiting for your turn. There were other things I had issues with but I think this is enough for one review.
