2017-Update: I saw Dr Anzazole this week and she was just as friendly as Dr Diaz previously. This time I needed bifocals and the lady (think her name was Cindy) who helped me pick my frames explained progressive lenses and tricks to use to make them more comfortable. I even did my one biggest no-no - I switched frames at the last second and she accommodated with a smile and a giggle. Love this place! I and my family will return here year after year! 2016-I saw Dr Diaz today for my annual check up and she was great! She took her time to talk to me and explain things to me. I felt they had a great selection of eyewear for both men and women. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place. I'll be using them in the future. I wanted a trial pair of contacts...until my glasses were ready for pick up. The Do Not Do Trial Lenses. This place is an absolute gem! Please read! Backstory: Me being a stubborn husband and multiple denials of inability to see clearly while driving at night. I was coerced(in a good way) by my wife due to my lack of motivation and utter stubbornness. I decided to look for local optometrists. After reading the reviews of others. I called and scheduled my appointment. Two weeks after my eye exam, I recevied my prescription lenses/glasses. Words cannot describe the difference in clarity and detail that is bestowed on my eyes. First of all....way too many reminders. Text confirm, calling confirm, enough already, I have a calendar and can tell time. They also inform you that they charge $50 for a cancellation fee (never seen that move). Secondly, when choosing frames and additions to my single lens glasses, I told the tech, I use them for class and for driving at night. I wear my glasses maybe 6 times a month. No I don't need scratch coating, I certainly don't need transitions, again I wear them inside and night driving. She was openly annoyed that I didn't let her pad the bill for my insurance, visibly agitated, as was I. I felt as though I was at a used car lot. After 30 Years of eye exams, definitely the worst experience to date. read more

I was very worried about a sudden oddity in my eye. I knew it was not an emergency, but I was very concerned. When I called, the receptionist (Julianne), said that they were completely booked, but she would chat with her office manager to see what they could do and call me back. Minutes later, Julianne called to ask if I could come right in. Hooray! Thank you, Julianne! Dr. Diaz was great. She was very kind and friendly and put my mind at ease right away. Thank you for making room in your schedule to see patients that are concerned about a sudden change in their eye(s), although it doesn't qualify as an actual emergency. This review is solely on the receptionist and the workers who helped get me my sunglasses. Not on the eye doctor. Summer is approaching and I was seriously in need of a pair of sunglasses. I was not interested in getting new glasses yet and did not need a eye exam. Had it done under a year ago so there was no need. Decided to check this place out after trying to get a pair of sunglasses elsewhere and I did not receive the service or the knowledge I needed to choose a pair that I would like and what my insurance covers. In comes this place. I was greeted right away by the receptionist and I explained to her what I wanted and that I did not have my prescription with me. No problem she says, asked where I got my eye exam and if I had insurance. I said where I did and she promptly called the place and got them to fax over my prescription, she also looked up my insurance plan and the answers I needed on what was covered. I was then sent inside the office and was greet by one of the workers who would help me choose and prepare my glasses order. Selection was decent. They had designer brands, but unfortunately the particular brand I was looking for was not there. No worries though there were plenty of other selections that was similar to what I wanted. I ended up choosing a coach brand and made sure it was doable with my high prescription. She also broke down the price and also explained the different options on the lenses and was very specific on what each one offers. This entire time I did not feel any pressure in buying and I really appreciate that. When everything was said and done. It will take 2 weeks to receive my glasses. I'm super excited and will update a review if there's any changes to be made after getting my glasses. But so far 5 stars!! read more
