ICON found the fault ,in the panels, fixed them, and gave them to me at low cost. . The inverters that convert dc to ac were still covered by warrant. A few have stopped working, ICON got replacement and put them on, no cost, A fault caused by rain was fixed by ICON , no cost. Get your solar panels at ICON you wont be sorry. PS" Electricity prices are going to go sky high because of AI processing centers!! Solar been like having a sure CD over my 10 years. Solar is now cheaper than my 10 years ago. Don't fret because rebates were taken away stupedly. Your solar panels now are a good deal, you will get money credited to you during the summer from the utility. You will get a bit of a benefit monthly for your usage. No brainer, GO SOLAR!!"

We hit a farm drain tile which was not detected. I was responsible for fixing that but their guys were very helpful as well. One of the circuits had some non-standard wiring in my house and one outlet was not re-connected. Unfortunately that was the outlet for the sump pump. My basement flooded and the furnace and water heater were a complete loss. I don't want anyone to have a complicated experience like mine but Icon was very honorable though out the whole situation. I also had a problem with some water in one of the solar strings which they were also able to fix. The only outstanding item is to get the drywall put back together in the garage. I was happy to have Icon when things did not take the happy path.

I met an incredibly kind, gracious, and generous man today. I have Lou Gehrigs disease and I drive…read moremy van from my powerchair. For the times when I need someone else to drive me, there is a plug that connects to the back of the regular driver's seat that allows anyone to drive the van. This plug was bust with loose wires. A random google search of electricians brought up Leitner Electric where I left a message. The next day I got a call from Mr. Perry asking how he could help. His tone was very friendly and I was amazed at how he carefully listened to what I needed and said he was willing to try to help me (even though repairing a plug in a disabled van was not in his scope of work, I bet!). While waiting outside his office this morning I was reading about Leitner Electric and discovered that Mr. Perry is the CEO of the company! There was a heavy drizzle as I waited and a minute later this person comes out in a rain jacket, introduced himself and got right to work. He got things working almost immediately and to top it off, he re-taped all the wires and neatened up everything. After the job was done, he noticed that the air pressure in a tire was low. He went to his car and got a tire inflator and filled my tire. Then I could not believe it when he went around to the other tires and checked the air pressure in the remaining tires. They were all low. Talk about going above and beyond the call of duty. One of his employees came out toward the end while Mr. Perry was checking the air in my tires and he said that Mr. Perry was the best boss ever; hands on and leading by example. At the end of it all, we exchanged a hug and I was off! No mention of a charge (the van shop had quoted a 2-hour labor charge of $300 with no guarantee that they could get it to work). I felt Mr. Perry was almost thanking me for giving him a chance to help me! He likes to make people happy, he said. Check out the reviews on the Leitner website! The almost perfect reviews are reflective of the man and his work ethic. It's a no-brainer to choose Leitner and Mr. Perry for any electrical work - a master electrician and a large-hearted man. Thank you, Mr. Perry.

Their communication has been great, and the install went very well. Took a couple months from start to final install. Each team was friendly, professional, and efficient. The only holdup has been AEP, who seem to take their time. Before the Zoom meeting, we learned that our electric co-op does not pay penny-for-penny as we were led by another solar company to believe. Since we would only be getting paid 7 cents per kilowatt hour (and paying our electric company 15 cents per kilowatt hour), we determined that solar did not make sense for us right now. My wife sent a message to the salesperson telling him we were no longer interested (as well as why) and said we would be cancelling the Zoom meeting the next day. The salesperson responded by asking us "to please keep the meeting time" so we could see what they had to offer. She responded again that we were no longer interested. The salesperson messaged again stating: "I have taken a lot of time out of our engineers schedule to get everything put together, and it looks really bad on me when I take that time out, and we do not have a chance to present the proposal." My wife did not respond to that message. Over the next several days, I received five phone calls and several text messages from them. I asked them to simply email the proposal to us, but he would not do so.
