I was given quotes for a replacement system that seemed to be very high. I got quotes from several other companies that were significantly lower. However the tech from Reupert wanted to re-evaluate the system and the heat exchanger does NOT need to be replaced and Chris made several adjustment to allow the unit to run better. I will now use this company for routine service and for when I do need a replacement Reupert will be getting my business.

After getting several quotes from HVAC companies, including the one that installed our previous system, we chose a Carrier Infinity system from Air-Plus Heating & Cooling and have been extremely pleased with results. Bruce Sibert was the salesman, and he was great to work with throughout the selling and installation process and with various follow-up questions. The team of Alan, Sam, and Tony did a great job of installing our new HVAC system - as well as replacing our old water heater at the same time. All the work was completed in one day plus a quick follow-up visit the next day just to verify that all was well with the initial setup. We have since been through some brutal cold winter nights and have already had a few days needing A/C, and the system has been working great - and with much more efficiency (and much quieter) than our old system. We recently had our free 6-month check-up going into the cooling season, and the system passed all the checks with no issues. We definitely made the right choice going with Air-Plus.

A system this new should not be failing repeatedly. The last time the owner, Matt, came out to repair it in April, we told him we were concerned that the air conditioner itself might be defective because of the constant problems. He told us to "trust him," reminded us that he owns the company, and assured us that if anything happened, he would come back out and take care of it. My husband believed him as he had been great to work with up until this point. Now, just a few months later, our HVAC has been broken for over a week. Despite the system still being under the warranty we were told the company provides, we cannot get anyone to respond. We have called and texted all three phone numbers we have for the company multiple times and have received no response. When you spend thousands of dollars on a new HVAC system, you expect reliable equipment and a company that stands behind its work. Instead, we've dealt with repeated breakdowns, unfulfilled promises, and now complete silence when we need warranty service. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend United Heating and Plumbing.

I called him in and he admitted it was likely a mistake they had made installing and it created a small leak. He recharged the system so we had AC while he could schedule us for the repair. Weeks went by. I talked to him and he said he'd call me that evening when he got home to schedule. That never happened. He is now blocking my calls. While he was a good price an very pleasant to work with he has now proven that he does not back his work. WARNING to all. In my mind the highest value is how well the company backs their work and products. Very disappointed.

I followed up with the office on at least 4 separate occasions (waiting at least 2 weeks in between each call) asking for a call back to schedule a time to have the work completed, because I assumed like many business they had a lot of work. I have still never heard back even after letting the secretary know that this was an issue. It's October and time to move on to another company. I don't know they just feel it's not worth their time unless a customer is getting a new furnace, but I would say don't bother with this company.

He took the time to thoroughly clean the outside unit (which was fairly dirty). Inspected inside unit and outside. Gave both a written explanation and verbal of findings. Would definitely recommend this service.
