Loved the service that we got at Solar Pro Tint! I've actually never gotten a car tinted before this but Miguel here at Solar Pro Tint was really great at explaining the different tint levels and types of tint that they offer! We ended up getting the ceramic tint. For all our windows, it took about 3 hours. They gave us this time estimate and really did call us back to let us know it was finished at 3 hours on the dot. While we were waiting we walked quite far down the road before finding a crosswalk and making our way to the greenbelt! Really great service and I was surprised on how reasonably priced their services are! You don't notice how many people have tinted windows until you get your car tinted and I highly recommend coming here to do so! read more

Not only do they do great tint, they are also honest and efficient. I have always been able to get in quickly. Almost everyone else I called for a quote tried to take advantage of the fact that I am a woman (one quoted me $600- just to tint my windshield). But not these guys. They operate out of a little shop and my tint job looks just as good as anywhere else. This is the only place to go in my opinion. read more

I'm a little biased because this is the only place I've been to in the Boise area to do window tint on my cars. But I've been to a number of other shops over the years (in different places I've lived) and I can say that Miguel is a pleasure to work with, offers fair prices, and does a great job. This is a small family owned business with a small storefront that does one car at a time. Sit and wait inside the small waiting room or walk to McDonalds etc. down the street and hang out. Free parking out front. Located across from the Western Idaho Fairgrounds. Spring water bottle and cups inside the lobby. Located on the same property as Mountain West Car Wash and vacuum. I could have done a better job myself and i have never done tinting. I contacted them for it to be redone/replaced and got ignored. And after they showed up they informed me that there was an extra charge for travel, which i was not aware of until he showed up. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

First off I could hardly understand what the guy on the other side of the phone was saying. The biggest red flag for this company for me comes in the lack of solidified costs. I wanted tint removed and Newton put on just for my back window and I was quoted somewhere between $90 to $160. My usual tuning shop which is all the way in Caldwell charges me $200 to tint the entire car. I am not impressed at all with the way these people do business. read more

I use Yelp to help me select so many different things. In this case, I was looking to have the windows tinted on a new car I just brought home. I read the 13 or so stellar reviews for Solar Tint and decided I would give them a try. Miguel was great to talk to over the phone and was able to get me in the very next day. He took the time to show me the various levels of tint on some of the cars out front which made it quite easy to decide.
