This was my first time visiting Solaris. I came in for a "Don't tell comedy" event combining 2 of my loves, beer & comedy. The tasting room is a pretty good size and has a lot of seating available even with all the people coming in for the event. Maddie was amazing. She helped my girlfriends and I out in choosing our beverages of choice for the evening and kept us satisfied with our refills. The actual comedy event was outside on their patio area. It was also a nice size that accommodated the crowd well. There was a taco truck out front so we had everything we needed. Such a fun time, will be back for sure. read more

After a longstanding absence I returned to Solaris to experience locally brewed beer and conversation with the brewers. This industrial modern brewery located in Temecula serves some pretty good beer, and seltzers as modern music plays on a turntable in the background. Gotta love vinyl records! On occasion live musicians perform on an outdoor stage, and food trucks provide delicious sustenance for purchase. Staff are very friendly and James is always willing to share his knowledge of beer, and listen. Highly recommend for a Friday afternoon. read more

If you like sour and fruity beer, Solaris is your place. They have a lot of interesting flavors for people who don't like that pesky "beer" taste, like a beer that I got that had red plum and sea salt flavors (Dream Machine), and a dark ale (Temecula Moonrise) with strawberry, banana, pineapple and chocolate flavors. As for me, I enjoy the taste of a good IPA. But wouldn't you know, I only chose one IPA in my beer flight. Everything else was a fruity beer or sour beer, and if I had to do it all over again, I would have went with a flight of all IPAs and hazies. They also serve very light beers with ABVs of 3% and 4%, when you want something to sip that won't get you drunk (like, at all). Solaris is a brewery only, and they don't serve any food. But you can bring food in with you! When I visited with my sisters, it was improv night, so there were people doing standup on the stage. We felt more in the mood to commiserate over childhood trauma and less like chuckling, so we moved outside to the tables on the shaded patio. It was nice to sit amongst the twinkle lights in the evening and drink our beer flights. read more

The best brewery in the area. I was debating whether or not I should give it away. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The beer variety and quality is top notch, from ipas to sours, non-alcoholic and coffee. White florets: 4/5 super pear forward and easy to drink Purple flowers: 3/5 too sweet for my taste a little 4oz pour was plenty. I didn't even finish that. Hydra sunrise: 3/5: the coconut was too overpowering for me. I wished the strawberry and vanilla were a little more present. Temecula sunrise: 5/5: all the flavors were perfectly balanced! I actually didn't come here for the beer! I came for the show! Namely the OGs of the psychobilly genre The Meteors. Located in a group of warehouses, Solaris has ample FREE parking in the evening when everything else is closed. The stage is located in their outdoor patio so dress warm when it isn't the summer. The capacity is probably around 250-300 and there's some bench seating. Besides the beer, they also had a food vendor out there so if you're hungry after a few, well there you go. Sound was a bit off for me. The vocals were super forward which I'm not used to at shows. But the playback if you take video is absolutely spectacular. Crowd was cool with only a few beers spilled lol. That said, I'll definitely be coming back. They always have great bands come through and even though the drive isn't my favorite, beggars can't be choosers! See you in the pit! read more

Solaris is a spacious and nondescript gem. It's strictly a brewery, but they often have food trucks, in case you're hungry. In terms of beer (isn't that what we're here for anyway?), they've got some tasty selections to please anyone's tastebuds! I especially LOVED Metropolis-- what a delicious and smooth oatmeal milk stout. They've got a cask variant of it, too, but I didn't like it as much as the non-cask version. If you're into stouts, this should be on top of your to-try list. IPA selection is very solid-- Plantasia is BOMB. Their fruited sours are also pretty good, although I did find some of them a bit too sweet for my liking. I am not a beer drinker, but my husband is. I do enjoy sweet, heavy, chocolatey beers and tasted the Nunca Muerta and No Joy. These are both absolutely delicious! You can get small pours too, so I got a 4 ounce of No Joy. It is so good. One star deducted for atmosphere. Although it is beautifully decorated with comfy velvet chairs, on the particular day we were there, a DJ was blasting music excessively loud--like difficult to have a conversation with someone--Loud. So Unnecessary. A weird thing to was, they had 3 TV's. One had a football game on, one had baseball game, and the other had Bob Ross painting! Lol read more

Went with some friends for a birthday and we got yelled at and scammed. My friends and I are a bit younger around 22 so we haven't been to a lot of breweries, one of my other friends had been to Solaris two days prior and bought two of Solaris's drinks but left them in his car. He decided to bring them in and drink them there since he had just bought them, as soon as we sat down a lady that worked there screamed at us telling us we couldn't bring outside drinks into the bar. We have never been to a brewery and apologized for bringing outside drinks but we told her they were Solaris's drinks(and you could clearly see the label), she said she didn't care and we had to put them back in our car and we couldn't even drink them outside of our car, I understand that we might have broken the rules but we did not know and I would have appreciated her saying it in a friendlier way. We did not want to cause any problems so we walked to our car and put the drinks back and we turned around to head back inside to find that the lady had followed us outside to our car which was really weird. There was also a live band that happened to be outside Solaris which was cool but we did not want to watch, however there was a food stand outside the brewery and concert area. We walked through the concert area to order and walked back inside, and when we walked back out got our food and we're heading back inside one of my friends was stopped and told they had to pay $10. He payed the guy the money and walked inside and told us what had happened and we told him that he only had to pay if he wanted to watch the concert so he went back outside to ask for his money back and explained he was eating inside. The man insisted that everyone there had to pay no matter where we sat and he wanted him to go grab us to pay as well, so he decided to ask the bartenders if that was true and they told him he was fine as long as he sat inside. He went back outside to tell the guy this but he just yelled at my friend and refused to give him the money back. After that we decided to leave since it ruined our moods. Definitely disappointed since the beer and atmosphere were good but we will not be coming back. read more

Beer! It's what's for dinner! This place is one of the best breweries in the area, with a variety of well made and well balanced brews, you'll find yourself enjoying a type of beer that you'd never thought you could enjoy. Lager's, IPA's, Stouts, kolsh, Hazy's, Sour's and some I just don't remember, at minimum they'll have at least one of each on tap. I'm an IPA drinker but this brewery got me drinking sour's, I can't remember the last brewery that made sours this well balanced, the tartness usually kills it for me but Chad knows exactly what to brew. If you're tired of wine and are more of a beer drinker give this spot a try, you won't regret it and if you do then you were probably not a beer drinker to begin with lol! This is one pretty brewery! I guess I should now say that I've become a low-key beer drinker...no wait, taster!! Yes, a low-key beer taster! I only like fruity ones that don't really have a beer flavor. It has to be more of a hard seltzer for me, otherwise I just can't do it! Weird cuz I can have shots of hardcore stuff and I don't like beer...lol! I came and tried the Purple Flowers because that's what my beer belly drinking buddy suggested and said it would probably be the only one I'd like. Nailed it!! They also had some kind of smoothie thing that they made on the fly. I asked for a taste and it was quite good! Not icy like a slushy and it was smooth and sweet, but not overwhelming. I don't think it had a name because the guy said it was just something they made up. They had a food vendor on the back patio. Pulled pork and sausage...the lady came and offered us samples and they were delish! I like when breweries have food because hellooooo, I need food if I'm gonna drink, you feel me?? The space is nice and wide open, and the bar is a good spot if you just wanna chill and have a cold one or two. I didn't see how big the patio is since I didn't go back there, but it seemed like a good size from outside the building. If you're a beer lover, and you haven't been here, come and try it!
