I moved to the area and wasn't disappointed by this place at all. The staff is great and friendly. Place is clean and organized. Beds are great with reasonable prices. I've just started tanning to get rid of my tan lines for my wedding dress. Last week I was trying out a different tanning salon, and this week I want to try something different, just to see what's out there. Solaris is really close to my house, so that's a major plus. The girl who greeted me was really nice, and I had already liked their prices so much better, that I immediately signed up for unlimited month (40$). I think that's a great deal. The lotions were priced a bit more expensive than the other salon I was at... between 2-10 dollars, from what I was seeing. Still not bad, but I would still rather save a couple dollars and pick up lotion from another salon/location. (I will be ordering mine from Amazon - way cheaper). I chose the stand-up for my first time here, and it didn't have the face tanner (which didn't really bother me, because I'm not trying to tan more, just get an even glow), but it might bother some. What I liked the absolute most about this stand-up.. was that it had it's OWN radio, that I could pick what I wanted to listen to, and how loud I wanted it to be! Definitely the best part!! FIVE STARS!!!! I have been tanning since I was 15 and I have been to so many salons and this one was hands down the best spray tan I've ever received! She made me feel comfortable and made sure I left with exactly what I wanted. I was wearing glitter and make up over it all weekend that I had to scrub off (thinking my tan would come off with it), nope! Tan is still here! If you take proper care of it, definitely capable of lasting over a week. Please come get your spray tans here ladies! Most definitely worth it! read more

HANDS DOWN BEST SPRAY TAN EVER. Ladies - I'm not even lying. I've tanned for years and I mean YEARS. I have tried ever single option for tanning available. (the beds, lotion, foam, spray in a machine and airbrush) I have an event tomorrow, and me being me, I called last minute to see if they had anyone available to spray me. The owner, Terri, personally came in before closing to spray me. Y'all, she is the sweetest lady I have ever met - & you can tell she knows exactly what she is doing. Terri went so above & beyond any Airbrush tan I have ever received. She made sure that the guide lotion was placed on my fingers, wrists, palms, toes and feet PERFECTLY. She even went above and beyond to make sure that I have the perfect spray color for my skin tone. 12/10 would recommend. I've been tanning here since I was freshman and am now a senior in college. They offer amazing student discounts on lotions and tanning packages! The ownership is amazing I absolutely love Teri and her management staff! They are so accommodating and kind and always have a smile when you walk in. Their beds are great and bulbs are changed regularly. I also love that they offer other services like lashes, spa, and spray tans. Definitely give them a try you won't regret it! I got an airbrush spray tan done here for Ring Day. I was very happy with it and the employees there are great and pay attention to the details to make sure your tan is perfect. I messed up and didn't take the shower I was supposed too an hour after my rapid spray tan and went to work and ended up messing up the tan. I let them know of this and they were willing to help me out and fixed my tan for me!! I highly recommend this salon for your tanning needs. read more

Obsessed with their spray tans! They use great products that leave you looking natural and not the slightest bit orange! The ladies that work there are extremely nice and helpful. The owner goes above and beyond to make sure that you're satisfied with their service as well. They go the extra mile to ensure that your tan looks the best. The definitely have the lowest prices in town and the staff is super friendly. I love that they constantly have specials going on and you can definitely get lotions and packages at a discounted price. Much better than the rest of the salons in town, highly recommend Solaris! read more

I've tanned here for a few months now after moving to the area from out of state and really wanted to like this place. I've just had some run ins with situations that have kind have done it for me and will no longer continue to tan here. Pros: clean, most of the girls are friendly, convenient location to my house, Facebook specials, no sales pressure to buy lotions and upgrade, locally owned Cons: beds aren't as new as I'm used to, staff doesn't seem to be educated on what the different levels do, I was charged twice one month and it was "fixed" but I was never offered the money back but just told I could tan until the month after, showed up on a Thursday (not a holiday) around 3pm to find doors locked and no one there, when I told the attendant the next day she said oh that's weird I didn't work so I dunno and continued her conversation with her coworker. The hours change during the Summer to shorter days which I get is nice for staff but with my schedule it doesn't allow me to tan for days at a time. For me this salon just isn't working so I'm taking my business elsewhere. read more

The staff is ALWAYS friendly, prices good, and facility is clean. Perfect location if you live in south College Station. Their hours of operation are broad and I've never had to wait for a bed. Tanning for all levels as well as spray tanning. Highly recommend! read more
