My electric outlet near the breaker box was damaged. I paid my handyman to repair this. A trench was dug across my property and was not filled in. This was unsafe for me and my horses. They have not filled it in properly. i paid my handyman to make temporary repairs. For months they said that they would fill it in, but they have not done so, despite many reminders. They cut through some stall mats and did not tell me. I only found out because a sighted friend pointed out the damage. I had to bug them to have the mats replaced. They repeatedly let animals out of enclosures and endangered horses by giving them access to feed rooms. (One of the most common ways that horses die is to colic after overeating grain.) I am blind, they read the contract to me and reassured me that they would cover the cost of tree removal. Now they want me to pay for tree removal, which is necessary in order for the solar panels to receive sunlight.. I ask that they complete the project. Require employees to manage care better on properties with livestock and pets. Pay for the removal of 3 trees that interfere with the solar project. ($5,000) Reimburse for my repair of their damages to my electric outlet, garage door and repairs on the trench. Compensate for inconvenience and poor management of the project. $2000 They need to reach out with an appropriate offer for resolution.

Super predatory company! BEWARE. One of the most bizarre and…read moreaggressive sales experiences of my life - this happened summer 2024 and it still haunts us! My spouse and I were working in the yard when a salesperson approached and commented on our work. We're interested in solar panels, but knew we wouldn't be taking on that project at the time -- maybe in 1-2 years. We thanked him for stopping by and politely declined, letting him know we'll keep them in mind for the future. He became really pushy and aggressive, walking further onto our property. We continued to decline, more forcefully, and eventually asked him to leave our property -- he still continued to cycle (and re-cycle) through his script, at least 4-5 times, and didn't begin to exit until we suggested involving the police for trespassing. The encounter was incredibly disrespectful, unnerving, and dehumanizing. We will never use Everlight and will actively discourage any friends and neighbors from using their business. Note: he also tried to tell us about rebates and programs with our electric company, but he had incorrect information. We were aware of the options and programs in our area since we had been curious about solar. However, he insisted his info was right (dispite not even knowing the correct electric company). In hindsight, it's concerning that he may have misled homeowners about programs and savings that aren't actually available to them.
