Al re-soled them for around $35 (if memory serves) during the week of Thanksgiving in 2025 in around 3 days. The soles look seamless and no one would be able to tell that they weren't the originals. They have solid traction on the ground and I am happy to report that I have not slipped once.

Go ahead and resole old boots, BUT do not expect them to treat never worn, Italian leather well.

Then proceeds to say, if you don't want to pay extra then I'll close up the shoe as is and you can take it elsewhere. Seriously? Had to let him finish it. I call 2 weeks later and he hasn't gotten to it and gave me a date of June 29th. Went on vacation then picked it up on 10th and $18 more. I finally go pick it up and bad mouth Shoe Hospital how they would never repair my shoe. The shoe was so dirty and looks like he did nothing to care for it while removing parts, gluing and put black stains all over it. And he thinks he did a great job. Look at the photo. My shoe that did not get repair on right, the dirt and gluing mess on my left shoe.
