History
Established in 2005.
Solich Piano was first opened in 2005 as a simple mall stop but quickly grew big enough to warrant our first physical location in Youngstown, Ohio. Since then, we have expanded to have stores in Columbus in 2012, Cleveland in 2017, and Pittsburgh in 2021.

Meet the Business Owner: Thomas S.
Owner Thomas Solich, blind from birth, grew up never settling for being mediocre. He grew up taking piano lessons from concert pianist Nicolas Constantinidis of Akron. Continuing with music, Thomas later graduated from the Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory of Music and set off to start his music company. With growing piano stores in Columbus - Easton Gateway, Cleveland-Beachwood, and Pittsburgh-Cranberry, Solich Piano frequently collaborates with various institutions by providing pianos to numerous colleges and conservatories in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and throughout the Midwest. Thomas is a family-oriented and conservatory trained concert pianist and educator with a music education background, which sets us apart and fuels our customer-centered musical expertise and culture. His leadership as a pianist inspires all our piano consultants at Solich Piano stores to uphold a singular and personalized experience for each individual piano shopper.
