You said, Yes I would love to do the work, and this was not to big of a project. You said that i would receive the proposal in a week to two. Well it has been over six weeks. This just makes me mad. Being a business owner myself, I had to leave a job to meet with you. Meaning I lost time and money. Then not to receive a estimate, that really upsets me. All you would have had to do was call me, and said you are still working on the proposal, and or you did not want the job. Either way I would have been fine with it. Came out without list I had painstakingly prepared and sent. Promised a quote (after I had to ask) by mid Monday. Knew I was on a time sensitive schedule. It's now Friday, and, nothing... Love when people have no respect for my time. Could've met with an interested and competent party during the time slot that was wasted. Update- Time is money. Promising someone something and then being 4+ days late on it, then making lame excuses and no amends is completely unacceptable, particularly in construction. Every day my project isn't complete costs me money. So glad I didn't waste any more time on a crappy incompetent and dishonest company. Guess they don't function in the real world like people who have actual bills and deadlines do. Note- Christmas holidays happen every year, if you aren't aware of that and make people promises that interfere with your egg nog, perhaps stick to Santa patrol and let a real company do the bid!! read more

Solid Rock Structures remodeled our master bath and tiled the floor of our other full bath. Everything looks beautiful. Andy was very patient while we made additional decisions. We asked a lot of questions and they were always quick to respond. The tilers worked incredibly hard in the AZ heat. The plumbers were great and even cleaned up the downstairs hall where they brought in some dirt. The plumber: Troy came back to make an adjustment and even offered to look at another problem we were having not related to our remodel at all. I found them on Yelp, I am so pleased I can't even begin to describe what an awesome job they did. I had them tear down a wall that connects the kitchen to my living room. They work very fast and a very meticulous, extremely conscientious of dust. They used a zip walls which really contained the dust very well. Then after they were done they cleaned up everything very nicely and even mopped my floors. I also want to mention what a perfect mudding job Clint did. You can't even tell where my old wall meets with the new wall. In fact I'm going to have them come back and do my fireplace and modernize that. I wish I would have found them sooner before some of the nightmare experiences we had to go through with past horrible bathroom remodeling we did. NEVER heard from him again..?? so I can not in good faith recommend Solid Rock Structures.. after reading some more reviews it looks like this company has a history or not doing what they say they will do... you can't count on them, just read the other reviews. Recommended by my neighbor who had him working at the time., I called Andy. We made an appointment. Said he'd call 30 min prior to showing up. Never heard from him. I tracked him down thinking maybe he lost my contact info. He answers my call after being an hour late already and he said he double booked his day. No apology for not notifying me or rescheduling. He came out later that day. We discussed the kitchen project and he said he'd have some numbers for me in a week. It's now been a month. Never heard from him. Never heard a word..... be cautious who you hire, do diligence. Call the RC. He may be good but very poor customer service. read more

I've used Andy and his team for two separate projects at two different properties. Both times Andy was great to work with! I've found that he gives consistently competitive quotes compared to other contractors who put in bids, gets quotes to me in a timely manner, and provides realistic timelines for finishing projects. His guys are also great! For both projects the work was done well and either right on schedule or ahead of schedule. He was also good at communicating throughout the projects and letting me know if there were any found issues. Definitely planning on working with Andy for future projects. read more

We hired SRS to take down a wall in our home and put up a support beam. The also did some drywall for us. They did an excellent job with the work and were on time and professional. The quote was reasonable for the time put in. My only complaint is that they left behind a big mess for me to clean up. Drywall dust and splatters of mud everywhere. Fortunately we are redoing our floors so it was all on the concrete slab but a pain nonetheless. read more

Wasn't super major what I needed done but I was referred by a friend to SRS to spruce up my bathroom (got some custom storage put in, all new fixtures, outlets added). I was really impressed by their work- they showed up on time and did exactly what I wanted all for a totally fair price. Top it off I got a thank you card with a Starbucks gift card enclosed- the owners are a husband and wife team and they really go the extra mile to make sure you're happy and feel appreciated as a customer. Fantastic experience with Solid Rock! Andy and crew were great to work with. They turned our nightmare bathroom leak into a positive experience. Quick, fair estimate and entire bathroom rebuilt in just a few days. They installed a new bath/shower, toilet, vanity, drywall, hot water heater and repaired/replace all of the plumbing. If you want a fantastic job at a reasonable price, these are your guys! The shower base was sinking and water in the shower wasn't draining properly. I made a lot of calls and couldn't find anyone knowledgeable to do the work. When I called Solid Rock Structures and discussed the problem with Andy, he knew right away what I was talking about. We hired SRS to replace the shower base as well as the surrounding enclosure. They did an excellent job, plus they were on time and very professional. The price was reasonable for the amount of work that had to be done. Part of the way into the job there was an unexpected problem and Andy came up with a great solution that took care of it. Before they left they cleaned everything, even wiping up the dust from the floor. Andy and his crew were very polite and easy to work with. Not happy! Nonresponsive to call and text. I waited too long for a call back and now I won't be able to get my project done this year. If he was too busy to help me out, it would've been nice to know that early on so I could have started looking for another contractor. Homeowners are busy and have deadlines too. I didn't know your email address changed but when I called you in July, you responded to my VM so I know your phone number is the same! Contrary to what you wrote, I did not set a date with you for November to start the project and more importantly, I didn't take the project off the table because I couldn't be your only customer. I still wanted you to do the work and I was waiting 4 weeks for you to recover from surgery to call me back. You said you wanted to stop by to refresh yourself on the project. After 5-6 weeks without word, I had to contact you. I did not get a return email (because I didn't have your new email) and I did not get a return text beginning of September. Communication is everything and after reading some other reviews, I can see where that is a problem within your company. read more

I contacted Andy and Cole about needing some painting. I had started a remodel and realized that the house wouldn't look complete without a fresh coat of paint, but I already had my kitchen set for install in just a few days. When I let Andy and Cole know about the bind I was in they made time to see me ASAP. The next day they pull a crew of 5 together so they could help me out of this time crunch. My home was transformed! As the remodel continued the kitchen people had noticed I had drywall issues, once again Cole at SRS came to my rescue. He had someone out to my house first thing in the morning to get the drywall repaired so I could stay on track with my kitchen install. They then got me an electrician to complete the job by putting in all-new white outlets, kitchen lighting and venting my stove hood. Everything they did was done with care. I want sure I was going to write a review, but I think it will be.helpful. I hired Andy and his crew to upgrade my small condo, kitchen and bathroom. He has a good cabinet and counter to person, but his daily crew were sloppy. The first night, they left the water off which also went to the upstairs. The pipes were left unattached and Andy had to come and replace valves, etc...this I did appreciate. I'm now noticing more things that were not done, or poorly done. The closets are hanging by the top and no bottom guides, the towel bar has already come off, plaster and paint left on the floor. I think most of the materials are of cheap quality, like the toilet. My biggest complaint was that Andy said he came by daily to inspect what was done. Either he didnt noticed things, or he wasn't there. So I'm giving a very average rating and you all be the judge read more

I had some major changes I wanted to make to my kitchen. I wanted to add a pony wall, move my vintage steel cabinets (removing a soffit and changing my ducting), and move/add some switches. Andy's crew created a lot of dust but stayed very clean and along the way kept the adjacent living room very clean (with plastic sheeting). The crew was courteous along the way and any questions I had were answered. They also pulled a old heater I had sitting in a closet and remodeled it to a full closet and another closet was remodeled as well. I would (and will) count on Andy and his workers for jobs in the future. read more
