Attention to detail The rep I had from this company met all the above in spades. Sean responded to my Yelp project on Saturday evening. I had a lot of hassles with Amazon not delivering stuff as promised and he followed up to get me worked into the schedule. He also pointed out that the mess vivint left (frustrating security company that gets no stars) would impact the install of my new door bell. After everything was said and done he even took the trash from the job. Not so common these days. It's pricier to use licensed and bonded pros, and they are NOT all the same, but if you find a good one you're paying for guarantees, professionalism and peace of mind, and these guys were not the priciest out there. Solid State has done several jobs for us including hanging led mirrors, adding a new electrical socket, led lights, light fixtures, and installed ceiling fans. They're fast and reliable. Jesus and Sean were wonderful. They replaced our very old electrical panel. It took hours and they worked diligently, were always polite and prompt, and cleaned up afterwards. I was replacing a light switch with a motion sensor switch and thought it would be an easy task. I lost power to 4 separate outlets as well as the switch I was replacing. Do not use this company. We had a ceiling fan installed. The job was finished roughly at about 10am. 6hours later the Tech Jesus returned to our home and threatened to put a lien on our home if we didn't pay. The invoice stated we had 5 days to pay. It was only 6hours when he returned demanding money. We had already paid the invoice. He came to our home Unannounced and threatened us. The next time Jesus try's to come to our home we will be calling the police. We have security cameras. We have evidence. read more

This company is a joke. Their inept and the worst customer service I ever had. They accused me of having pre existing condition when they totally messed up my wiring on my pool power box on the outside landscape lighting portion of the project. They left my pool light disconnected and my GFI. When confronted they might as well have called me a liar with the pre existing condition for an excuse. Believe me they are full of excuses.They cut into two section of my drip line and didn't even check to see if it was functioning properly before they left. They new they messed up, all they wanted to do was leave as fast as they could. This company will make you sick to your stomach, poorest excuse for a company that won't guarantee their work. Don't use them, they don't give a crap. By the way I had to get a new electrician to fix what they did, he said it was a mess (guess what my pool light works) and my landscaper is coming to dig up my yard again to fix the drip line leaks they created. read more

Do not utilize the services of Solid State Electric LLC. I had a 240v 60amp outlet installed in my garage to charge my electric vehicle. I charged my vehicle overnight and woke up the next morning to find my garage smelling of a fishy/sulfuric smell. I called Solid State out to see what was wrong. They charged me $70 for this visit only to tell me that nothing was wrong with the panel and that the issue resided with my car charger. I took the car and the charger to the Tesla service center and they ran diagnostics and determined nothing was wrong with the panel or car. I had an independent electrician come out and inspect the breaker. It took him 10 seconds to find the breaker that was installed by Solid State had exploded, damaging 2 other breakers in my panel. Now I am out $355 and on top of that I need a whole new breaker panel (~$5000) to be installed if I want to charge my car from home (as the slot that housed this breaker is now permanently damaged). Stay away from Solid State, my family could have died from a potential fire because we charged the car overnight. read more

Do not ever use. They are dishonest and take advantage of people. I needed some electrical work done... outlets added. The worked had to be done right away because of the work other contractors needed to do that was dependent on the electrical. Their field guy came over and quote a price of 100 / hour ( for outlets) for two guys and said the work I needed would take 5 hours and it would be 500 -600 dollars. I was in a bind and although that seemed high, I agreed to the job. I asked about payment, he said a credit card was fine after the the job. That evening, I get an invoice for nearly $800 demanding a deposit of 1/2 before they will show up. This was not what was quoted by the field representative and they would not stand behind the quote of the person they sent out to bind the job. They did not show up and this caused other contractors time and money since their work needed to be rescheduled. Very poor business operations and very bad business tactics. Avoid..... do not put yourself in a bad position. read more
