Dennis is exceptional. He is all the things that you hope for in a professional, but seldom get - prompt, informative, honest, expert, patient, friendly, and fair. We have had him out to the house on 2 occasions now. The first time was to install an extra wallcharger in the garage for an electric vehicle, and also to install recessed lighting for our master bedroom, and lastly to install spotlights for artwork in our entranceway. The craftsmanship was top notch and the pricing was very reasonable. He went above and beyond with the wallcharger when he noticed that the electrician who had worked on our first wallcharger had taken some shortcuts with the wiring. Dennis explained what was wrong and fixed it for no extra charge. This type of customer service is rare nowadays, and I appreciated his honesty. The second time was to troubleshoot an issue with one of our EV wallchargers, and also to fix a finicky dimmer switch in our dining room. As it turns out, the issue with the Chargepoint Homeflex Wallcharger was just a programming issue with the phone app. Dennis called up Chargepoint's customer service line, got a rep on the phone, and helped to troubleshoot the issue which ended up with Chargepoint sending a remote signal to our wallcharger to adjust the Amp maximum. After fixing our dimmer switch, he ended up just charging us for the dimmer and not the wallcharger troubleshooting, which was an unexpected surprise. Dennis is fantastic because he does a great job explaining the issue, and is willing to go above and beyond what other "professionals" might do in his shoes. Wow, what a relief it was to deal with Phoenix Electricians Today! I first spoke with Dennis who said Charles could come right out, which he did. Charles went right to work and found an issue where a heat sensor in my recessed light was shorting my circuit. He quickly fixed the problem and put everything back together. Charles was very professional, did a great job, and didn't try to up-sale me on anything I didn't need. Dennis was also great in how he was upfront with pricing... it would be $188 to troubleshoot the issue and include fixing something minor like a lose wire. He also said that if anything was found that would increase my price, then a flat-rate price would be quoted, not an hourly rate that has no ceiling. My cost wound up being the $188 he quoted! I've tried to use them twice. Both times the prices were outrageous. A quote of $18,000 turned into $28,000 for a Home generator install, which never happened after a couple months of issues. Then I wanted an outlet installed in my garage. It was 30 ft from the electrical box. $860.00 was their price....Hey, they are nice people and very friendly. Called this company on Friday the 21st about repairing a conduit that disconnected from the main box. The person who handled the call was very professional and sounded willing to help. Asked him for a quote and he had me text him some photos. Once he got those he was going to give them to his electrician to take a look and give me an estimate. I waited a few hours without hearing back and once I did they decided they needed to come out to the project and take a look which I was fine with. Later that afternoon around 3pm someone showed up to take a look. I talked to the tech and he said it was going to be a tough job and require a lot of work and digging to repair. Asking him how much it would cost and he quoted me $1500 for the repair. I said wow, that seems high, I had another company quote me $400. His response is what gave this company 2 stars. His response was "well I'd go with that then". Really that's your response. Ok professionalism was lost at that point and he clearly felt no reason to give an explanation why his quote was so much higher. I asked him to write something up and give it to me so I could compare the work and he said they get something over to me later. I've already told them it I was a time sensitive issue so was hoping to get something soon, nothing never came. Not a follow up call, not a text with a quote, nothing. I had the other company out this morning Monday 7/24 and they repaired it and for their quoted estimate. I don not recommend this company. If you do use them call around and get many quotes. read more

Had Dennis come to my house (on Saturday) to give me a quote on getting an "A" clip repaired. He told me it would be $300-500 if he could get the part (because the electrical panel was so old) and send me a quote on Monday. However, on Monday I had an electrician from my home warrenty company come out to see if it was covered (they later denied the claim) but since Dennis came on Monday (with no communication that he would be returning) he didn't send me the quote (as if I was cheating on him). I called him a few days later to see what happened and he said he was able to get the part but he was out of town and would have Joe call me instead. Joe called and said the job would now be $1500. Not sure what kind of switcheroo they were trying to pull but poor communication and follow up. Did not have service done with their company. read more

I appreciated the whole experience from start to finish. The dispatch was friendly and helpful. My service call was only $39 to diagnose the electrical issue I was having. If I decided to have them repair it and review the quote for said repair, the electricians have all the supplies in their van and the service call fee would be waived/included in repair price. I received an email with the picture of my electrician, Dennis Parker. He was accompanied by an apprentice. They were right on time. Very professional and nice. I proceeded to show them the outlet that I was having issues with. After a series of questions and me showing them where my fuse box was, they went straight to work. Pretty straight-forward issue. They ran tests, replaced the entire outlet box. Ran tests again. They even ran a test on the transformer that needs to be plugged into that outlet to show me everything was good to go. I also will have a couple of electrical outlets that will need to be installed at a later date. Dennis reviewed the areas with his apprentice and wrote up the quotes for me. They asked if there were anything else they could assist with regarding my electrical items that needed repair. They were very thorough. They accept all major forms of payment, credit cards, check, Amex. There is also a 10% military discount. Wow! I called this company based on these positive reviews and I was not disappointed. It was the first time in ten years of homeownership that I had to call an electrician. Grateful I haven't needed one before, but pleased with the service! I called on a Friday, mid afternoon. I spoke with Andrea and let her know we were having an unknown issue with something in the pool area. I asked for Saturday service, but she said the next two Saturdays were booked. I was ready to scoot off the phone, but she then asked if the next hour would be a good time for the servicemen to come out. I was stunned that they were able to come out so promptly and diagnose the issue. It luckily turned out to be a minor issue and the cost was less than $150.00. They didn't charge a rush fee, didn't try to upsell, got to business and got the issue resolved. Dennis and crew were professional and efficient. Our pool pump had been inoperable for months. Called these guys based on the Yelp reviews. I had an outlet burnout in a rental and called on a Sunday. I told the gal answering the phone that I definitively needed a Monday appointment to make sure their were no safety issues. She told me no problem and that someone would call me Monday AM to set it up. I got a call in the AM, only to be told that they did not have any Monday appointments. I knew I should have called a couple of different companies for the work and gone with the company who could get me in. But I didn't, now I'm scrambling. Even though they show as "open" on Sundays apparently they're using an answering service who doesn't have access to the appointment calendar. Irritating! read more
