I say this (jokingly) because I've referred so many of my coworkers & friends who got into accidents, but Rob turned down some of them. Basically, he'll give you his honest answer during your first free consultation; Rob is an honest & ethical attorney, who won't sugar coat you, just to get clients. He'll tell you upfront what to expect. Then you make the decision :) Rob & his team are bunch of go-getters who will go after those offenders & insurance companies to protect you. I was involved in a 3-car accident in January 2022. I was the middle car, when someone reared me from the back. The guy who reared me told me not to call the cop (yeah, I was so naive and didn't know what to do... if you ever get into an accident, CALL THE POLICE ASAP), and later I found out that he even LIED on the police report. The investigation took long time due to complexity of the case. BUT, Rob works with thorough team of investigators and paralegals who will find every detail and FACTS to solve the case. So he did ;) Fast forward 1 year, the at fault driver's insurance company accepted 100% liability, paid full cost of property damage (rental car included!). They just didn't want to deal with us anymore, they had got paid their money and we hadn't got paid ours. It feels like your team tells clients what they want to hear just to get them off the phone, with no real follow-through. Responsibilities are frequently passed off to different people, and no one seems to have a full grasp of my case. Most concerning is the fact that decisions--such as whether a settlement is acceptable--have been made without even consulting me. When I spoke with someone last week, I was told that the firm was still waiting on billing information from my chiropractor and massage therapist before issuing my (very small) portion of the settlement. Now I'm suddenly told that the check from the insurance company was mailed on 5/16, but won't be received until the second week of June--and once received, there's a 10-day hold? That timeline makes no sense and raises further doubts about the transparency of your process. To make matters worse, I haven't received any updates at all regarding my first case. That's still completely up in the air, and no one seems to be taking responsibility. It's becoming clear that I'm not the only client experiencing these issues. I'm sure the Bar Association would be very interested in hearing about this pattern of poor communication and questionable handling of cases. I expect a clear and immediate update on both of my cases, including a timeline and point of contact. This situation is beyond frustrating.
