I had a person experience with him where i was the only one to show up during a mens group and just needed someone to vent to. During this conversation, i became sad about my place in life at the time and he asked if he could touch me and i said no but he did it anyway. That made me feel weird and then he went on to tell the entire class that i had came in distraught and suicidal with out any regard for how i might feel about it. There are others you can go to , he's not worth the trouble.

I hadn't had many interactions with them, until the last few months when I contacted them multiple times because they stopped sending me reminder texts. For months, the day before reminders weren't arriving, and it actually caused me to miss appointments. I begged them to fix it. Nothing. Finally they escalate to tech support after like 5 months of this, and they find some weird thing wrong that still hadn't been fixed. Therapist says he's changing offices, and gave me options for moving forward. I wanted to stay with him, and he told me that I could expect some contact person changes and stuff in my email. Pretty straightforward. Then they (the old office) called me today, telling me that they're calling because of my appointment next week. They inform me that Landon is no longer with them (OK), and then.... tell me they will assign me a new therapist or I can pick one from their roster. Um WHAT. As if my therapist, who I have a longstanding conversation and rapport with now, is a spare tire to be changed out at need. I'm pretty stable at the moment, but that could really rock someone's boat if they weren't prepared for it and maybe not ready to hold their ground and advocate for themselves I will have no reason to field their calls again and I'm good with that.

He decided to change (lower the dosage and amount of meds) that my regular dr has been prescribing me for years. When I attempted to get this corrected, so far 3 times, I was told the office would contact my pharmacy, correct the problem, and call me back with the status. It's been 3 days with not a single thing done to correct the issue. I am now out of my meds and they are closed for the 3 day weekend. I hope I don't do anything irrational due to being off my meds, but I guess that would be acceptable to dr kunam. Who does this man think he is? And why can't his people do their jobs?

Unfortunately, Dr Kunam is nearly impossible to get a hold of. I call the regular number a (949) number that we have always used to contact the office and I make an appointment. Not for about 10 days though. Both the pharmacy and I call to get the medication extended for a couple of days so that I can avoid the withdrawal effects. Leave a message with the office staff who explain that it's up to the Dr's discretion. No problem, I figure, the Dr. understands that this type of medication has significant withdrawal effects. We've talked about it before.... But, the medication doesn't get extended. Pharmacist is awesome and understands what's happening but can only give me 3 days of medication. I experience dizziness, trouble sleeping, et cetera for the next week until my appointment. Not life threatening, but it's a big deal for me. I have trouble doing my job, trouble concentrating, it affects my family life. Show up for my appointment and the office isn't even open on that day. Turns out Dr Kunam's incompetent staff scheduled me for an appointment in a different office 100 miles away from the one I go to!! Don't ever count on him being available for appointments. Don't count on him caring about whether you go through withdrawal or not.... Patients just aren't that important to him.
