Every-time I bring my 82 yr old mom in here they are all so nice, greet you with a warm hello and smiles! I know it's hard the job they have and the closer it gets to Friday I'm sure their patience are wearing thin. But not these ladies they still are as nice as Georgia pie and probably don't get the KUDOS they all deserve! I've had no issues with this office in 10 years and everytime I need something done it's done within minutes or the same day that is huge , most offices take at least 3 days to complete something. I just want them to all know that Tracey , Sharon's daughter appreciates them and all their hard work and dedication to making all the patients and the families feel amazing and cared for so HILDA, HEIDI, and Dr Singh need to give these girls a high five or a lunch on yall! They really do a great job and they are your first impression when a patient comes in and I know from experience most front office staff are either over worked or over it completely!! On one occasion, I received multiple phone calls in the same day asking why I had scheduled an appointment before my ultrasound was completed. I repeatedly explained that the appointment was to discuss the results of a previous ultrasound, which had already been completed and was in my chart. Despite explaining this several times, they continued to question me. The final issue that led me to cancel my care was when I was scheduled for an endoscopy. No one contacted me beforehand to explain what my out-of-pocket cost would be. Since my procedure was the next day, I called the office because I didn't want to be surprised by a large bill. I spoke with Maggie, and the interaction was extremely disappointing. Rather than listening to my concerns, she repeatedly talked over me while I was simply trying to understand why the office couldn't provide an estimate after obtaining the insurance authorization. It felt like the office was focused on getting paid by the insurance company but not on making sure patients understood their financial responsibility ahead of time. Instead of helping, Maggie told me to call my insurance company or the surgery center myself. I explained that I didn't understand why I had to make multiple phone calls when the procedure had been scheduled through their office. Even after I politely asked her to let me finish speaking, she continued interrupting me and eventually hung up on me. I have worked in customer service for many years, and throughout the conversation I remained respectful. There was nothing that justified ending the call that way. As a result of this experience, I canceled my procedure and will be finding another gastroenterologist. The physician may be excellent, but the office staff's communication, professionalism, and customer service need significant improvement. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice.

When I made this appointment I wasn't aware of me having to do two copays, since it was a couple months ago and therefore I wasn't prepared. I really needed this appt today and the front desk lady Veronica was ready to CANCEL my appt, even though I told her I would be willing to pay today's copay and pay the other one in the days to follow on my payday. As I was really in need of today's appt, which I expressed multiple times! Luckily Joanna the other front desk miss saw my desperation and stepped in and made this a much easier process. I think it's important to honor policy and do your job but I was really looking for some compassion since I wasn't preprared financially for two copays. Thanks Joanna for showing compassion and my Dr. Christina was and always is amazing and makes me feel so comfortable when I come! Thank you guys overall! As far as being efficient not so much at all, unsure of it's the office environment, lack of efficiency expectations but it's something. However any Dr is only as good as her staff. The Lady at the front desk Angie could not have made my already in pain and stressed mother more uncomfortable. I was appalled at this women's behavior. It is common practice if you've worked a single day in your life in customer service to SERVE YOUR CUSTOMERS. If someone asks you something while your clocking in or doing something on the computer you say "One moment, we'll be right with you" not give attitude like a 13 year old girl and say "can you At least let me clock in" because it is not our fault you're coming in when you are, with a bad attitude from the jump. Maybe do your job, as a receptionist and receive people that is the root word of your job: reception which is a synonym for receive. Try to not be disrespectful, crass, combative, and full on tyrannical in a clinical setting. My mother is sweet and only responds the way she needs to when another person thinks they can make her feel insignificant as a smaller older woman of color. If she wants to talk to you in English that is her right Angie don't just assume people's preferred languages based on bias and then get upset about it. Maybe just ask? Weirdo behavior. And if you need to verify something with the doctor that is fine but don't accuse the patient of lying and call them out like a entitled guardian of care. How about you learn to be the bigger person as you are the receptionist and it's literally your job. And Angie maybe spend less time gossiping on company time with your coworkers about other people and focus more of yourself and becoming a better person because you have ALOT of work to do. I hope to hear back from the clinic with an apology and assurances this matter will be dealt with. And hopefully angie can take a customer service training to learn how to handle herself like a professional.
