Don't list that you're taking new patients if you're not taking new patients. Waste of time and rude honestly about it.

She also makes science based recommendations instead of following the newest fads, so she probably won't agree with the latest Dr. Oz diet or believe the "I cured my cancer with diet and exercise alone" stories. She does have a great sense of humor, and will make you feel at ease in the most awkward conversations. I love that I can email her a question and get a response usually within 24hrs, and she doesn't make me feel dumb for asking ridiculous questions. She uses an online patient records portal so I can keep track of test results and make appointments online. She can usually do same day appointments too if you you give her a call. If you need blood work she takes it herself right there in the office, so no need to wait in line at the phlebotomist office. She usually has a "wait it out" approach if she doesn't think an issue is terribly urgent, which could be off putting to some people, but I think this approach makes me feel like she is putting my needs ahead of her bank account. So far she has been right! She is a blogger (https://dinosaurmusings.wordpress.com/about/) and a writer, so you can check out some her "musings" and decide if she sounds like someone you would want to be your doctor. If you don't understand/like her sense of humor, or disagree with her philosophy, she might not be right for you. She is always warm and polite, but direct when she has something important to say...and then frequently follows up with a joke. I think she is awesome, but I could see how some people might not appreciate her. She is who she is...never change Dr. Lucy!

He answered all of my questions, explained things in clear detail and provided great recommendations for skin care. He's very personable and makes you feel comfortable in the office! Call center cancelled my appointment the morning of via text message, Reason: Dr. had family emergency. When I was finally able to reach some one with the authority to reschedule me I was told the best they could do would be 12/24 or 12/26. Three months after my original appointment was cancelled!!!!!! BTW...my husband was able to see the same doc I had been scheduled with...he told her of my experience...she denied that she had cancelled any appointments and had not had any family emergency that kept her from work. She promised she would look into it. I am so deeply concerned and saddened by the change in management . This had been a top of the line practice since it opened. No longer true.

I was told it was probably a sinus infection, but everyone around me got sick afterward. The good: I was seen at the AFC Phoenixville location twice:…read moreonce in 2020 and once in January 2024. The time in 2020 was wonderful - the people were nice, everything went well, and I got better. I even recommended it to a few friends. Fast forward to this year. My visit in January went well, I was seen and treated, and a prescription was sent over to the pharmacy. While I did end up waiting a bit after my appointment time, it was nothing super major. The bad & ugly: After my visit in January, I received my bill post-insurance. Before I even received the paper bill, I received a text message and phone call requesting payment. The voicemail didn't even tell me who they were, just that they were from the "billing department." Immediately upon receiving the statement in the mail (on Feb. 21), I submitted it to my HSA (Health Savings Account) for payment which can take up to 30 days for the payment to clear. In those 30 days, I received a second physical bill in the mail and an additional text message and 2 phone calls. I called and told them that the payment was in the mail. After yet another physical bill two weeks ago, I called and sent them proof of payment from the HSA (HSA confirmed the check cleared on March 13). Then, another two weeks go by, and I receive yet another bill on Apr. 15, this time labeled "Final Statement Before Further Action." The redemption: At this point, I was clearly frustrated and annoyed. So, I left a negative review here. The next day, I heard from the office manager wanting to call and talk to me by phone. I sent him the proof of payment and told him when he could call. During the phone call, he apologized about the issue I was having and said that he would track down the missing payment. By the end of the day, he had found the deposited check. And, finally, my outstanding balance was resolved. In summary (TL;DR): I thought the staff at the office were nice, personable, and helpful. They definitely helped me out when I was pretty sick and needed to be seen as soon as possible. However, billing leaves much to be desired. My hope is that my experience is a one-time and not a systemic problem. Only time will tell.

Today I received a nasty letter stating that I didn't reply to a letter they allegedly sent me in February. The letter went on to chastise me for not coming in within the past year, and indicated that if I do not contact them "now" to schedule an appointment, they will be contacting my insurance carrier. They will tell the carrier that I have elected to discontinue my "assignation" with their providers. The letter went on to state that they will only be able to provide me with emergency care until 5/14/26, as "this 30 day period should allow you adequate time to locate and select another physician of your choice. We strongly recommend that you place yourself with another provider as soon as possible." Keep in mind that I received this letter today, May 5, 2026. The letter is dated 4/14/26, and the practice is about a fifteen minute drive from my house. So they put me on notice that they're also putting my insurance carrier on notice that "our doctor/patient relationship will be terminated." Good. Saves me the trouble.

The office staff can be very busy and I know that sometimes we want to be treated as if we were the only person who matters. We have moved 50 minutes away and I'm not changing doctors.
