He installed a new door knob, installed a new window shade, and installed a grab bar in the bathroom. All work was done well and he was very careful to be sure the grab bar was very sturdy and safe. Super happy with how this project turned out. Retextured the kitchen ceiling, blending in old textures with new texture and repainted the ceiling a beautiful swiss coffee color. Looks amazing!! Repainted kitchen, hallway, entry way, bedroom and living room areas, without getting any paint on the custom made baseboards. Simply beautiful work. He mentioned that they will fix those but didn't really happen. I gave another project which was the floor. Paid him all the paint job and all the material plus some labor for floor. Paid to replace kitchen lighting which didn't get completed. Unfortunately, the delays started. No answer on phone calls from reasons such as he said he didn't pay his phone service and then getting sick. Then finally no response at all. Now I'm left with half baked floors. I have other pictures I sent him and he mentioned that they will fix. This is sad because I think he was a nice person including Mark. I thought of giving them more projects and build trust. Not sure what happened. I asked for updates 3 times but haven't heard from him since.

He did a few projects for us and also installed a wine rack that was already built by someone else. He said he had to make modifications for it to fit, so we allowed him to do it. He installed it and within a week later, it started falling. Again, we called him, and called him and called him. Same routine..... no return calls. Unresponsive. Weeks later, we finally get an answer when we called him, and he said he would come fix it. Again, he doesn't show up. Unreliable. He is full of excuses. Same thing again.... we keep calling and leaving messages and no response. And then he shows up out of the blue. No call, no appt...... but we let him come in. He takes a look at it and says he didn't bring his tools and will come back. UNBELIEVABLE. Well it's over a week later and he never did come back nor did he ever pick up our calls or return our messages. We finally got an answer today, and he is completely unprofessional. He says for him to come back, he will charge us extra. Excuse number 234. And he is saying he didn't build the rack. That is something we never claimed. He saw the rack and agreed to modify and install it for an agreed price. His installation did not last a week!!! As a professional, he should have known the support it took to hold the rack in place, but he did not. He did a poor job and is trying to get more money out of us. The conversation turned vulgar, and every foul word came out of his mouth. Completely unprofessional. Even if he would come back for free, he will not be allowed at my house. He displays extreme unprofessionalism, unreliability and is the reason handymen get a bad reputation. He is the complete definition of that. Don't take my word for it.... if you ever need work done, give him a call, wait for weeks, and hear the excuses for yourself!
