Our experience with SOLITUDE, the Traverse City Float and Wellness Spa, was the Valentine's Day experience I will never forget! My husband and I shared this gift to one another. We were treated like royalty by the staff. They answered all of our first timer questions clearly with research based information. The cozy, clean pod, and full body relaxation in warm salty water could easily be compared to floating within a cloud. My sister and I did our first float last weekend. The staff was very informative on what the benefits are, how the float worked and what to expect. Staff also took the time to talk with us on our experience after. It was an overall great experience, although it did take a little bit to get used to and quiet my mind. I have actually slept better and my skin and hair feel very soft! My second float is tomorrow and I am very excited, as I now know what to expect-cannot wait to relax! So excited that we have this therapy available in Traverse City now. The facility itself was beautifult and spotless. Staff was welcoming and knowledgeable. I wasn't sure exactly what to expect from floating, but I have friends who raved about their experiences in other facilities. This was incredibly effective on my sore muscles. No better way to beat the winter blues! The pod float is so relaxing and I felt amazing after my session. From scheduling my appointment to prepping for my first session the staff were very kind and accommodating! I experienced my first float this weekend at Solitude. Beautiful space and very helpful staff. I achieved maximum success by relaxing and actually falling asleep while floating.
