So this is the first time I've found myself hesitating to write a review. You ever find something special, and you think for a moment I wish I could keep this to myself, but it'd feel wrong to not share. Well here's that moment. Stay at Solitude Pointe and you will pleasantly surprised as how much you want to tell everyone and yet keep it to yourself. From the moment we were in town, we received a pleasant text message from the owner, that the cabin was ready for us and to come on in! We left lunch at the Opry up the road and headed back to the location and upon pulling in even one week past peak color and this place is still picture perfect! The roads through the campground are paved and smooth, directions easy to follow. The cabins are labeled and easy legible by names on front. Upon opening the door to the cabin you are greeted by a lovely screened in porch with Adirondack chairs and a lovely hot tub(yes screaming my name and clean and ready to go) Now opening the door to the cabin interior was equally pleasing to the eyes, such perfect use of space and perfect size for two people! The furnishings were ample and comfortable and they did not miss a beat with the things I would need. Please see shared photos, this place is sooooooo perfect in every letter of the word. Also a nice note with a chonky book of things to do/eat/see local and further away in each direction. We did not get a chance to stop at the store but I wish we had. So if you are looking for peace and quiet, then your look is over.

Interior of "Mountain" cabin, view towards loft with full sized mattress. Queen bed on main level.

Wow! What a blessing to find this place of true solitude. We were looking for a nice, quiet place to enjoy a few days of rest over our Christmas week break and Solitude Pointe offered everything we needed and more. The added hot tub helped soothe our aching backs after having just completed a year-end inventory at our store. We rented the Mountain cabin and it was absolutely perfect. Couldn't ask for a cleaner or friendlier experience from this family-owned park. We have searched high and low for a place just like this and now that we've found it, we will most definitely be returning whenever we need a few days of retreat!

Very comfortable and quite. Owners are really nice and cabins are clean and cozy. We enjoyed our weekend stay.

They as well offer high speed WiFi, free drinks & snacks at the welcome center along with free printer service. Oh and did I mention the free bike wash area, a garden you can pick fresh items from and a nice dog park! The only thing I would truly add would be a wash house to do laundry. I think that would make them even more appealing. But, if not this place is still a great spot to park for a day or a week like us. Highly recommended.

Initially, we were trying to get into Davidson River campground, but of course the reservations were all booked and we couldn't find a spot. Instead, we looked in the area online and found this place, and I'm glad we did. The location is convenient to all of Brevard and the Pisgah forest, a quick 5 minute drive from anywhere in town. We stayed on site 6, which was in the far corner and it was awesome. There was a grassy area right behind which the kids played on and enjoyed, and there were really thoughtful amenities throughout the campground including a bike maintenance station, a welcome center with complimentary goodies, a nice dog park and community firepit and garden. I think all the sites are full hookup, which was a nice convenience compared to the other option. We also had super strong WiFi in the camper. I was able to work and have video calls with not a single issue. It was the best Wifi we have ever had at a campground. When we arrived, the site host stopped by to say hi and introduce herself. We also had some small maintenance to do on our camper, which she made sure she gave us all the information for service centers in the area, and offered to see if they had any tools we may be missing. This is certainly a super thoughtful and amazing place, surely worth a stop next time you're wanting to visit Brevard!

He also dates his staff, his former Manager Bonnie what great she cared and was always available for us 24/7 and lived onsite and when he was done with her, he fired and evicted her, she was a single mom with no place to go so she lost her housing and her job. The new manger was never available, she, and relied on the some of the resident to do her job after hours and at the same time they were allowed to break the rules and when you complained about them, she ignored it. prices went up and the residents suffered. There are no amenities for the price you pay, he doesn't give any discounts especially to Veterans, they make you pay to have a DNA test of your dog's poop if your long term. They say they are a 45 and up adults only, and they are not. The owner has party's and the people going to the party race through the parking campground along with the golf carts that do not follow the speed limit. And heaven forbid if you are a good resident who pay their site fee on time and follow the rules but have a few friends over then he evicts you, he picks and chooses who you are allowed to have visit you onsite and at your camper, has even made threats to good resident he would evict if they have them onsite again. Quite time is at 9pm and the staff who live onside are not allowed to be social with the resident's if they are the owner fire and evicts them on the spot.
