They listen to how you are doing and make suggestions of how to improve your situation. They adjust the plan as needed. The physical therapy assistants are also special folks. Even after I had been going for weeks, assistants observed and corrected postioning problems from time to time. There is no sense doing exercises if you aren't trying to get the best results! I was told that I could and had to miss a whole week because none was available. Machines too close for pandemic times. But what got me was how unprofessional the staff was at times. Talk about other patients using their first name so all there could hear. Also really didn't look at the long list of the regular physical therapy exercises or even keep it to add to my chart so all that worked on me had the information. Team Rehabilitation did and it helped greatly in my treatment. I was told I could do all of them but when I asked later about a certain one I was then told not to do that one. I ended my therapy when it came time to be checked and measured to get more appointments approved. It wasn't worth my $40 copay for each visit. I have never done that before but I know what good physical therapy should look like and feel like.
