I had laser hair removal done at Sollay Laser Center. I am happy with my results (underarm and bikini area). The staff are very professional and made me feel comfortable during the whole procedure. I was told that the hair removal process would feel like rubber band snaps and it did sting a little but it was tolerable. Dr. Hana and Abby at the front desk are wonderful. When my Brazilian area started to grow back Dr. Hana let me use one of my leg treatments on that area. Very appreciative. Not a delightful experience here. 1. Poor customer service. You have to call multiple times to make an appointment cuz they always miss the call. 2. They have unfair clause for customers. I came here twice. First time for micro-needling and second time for lip filler. At my second appointment, they told me I need to pay in advance for the syringe. I said ok and made the appointment. However, what I don't know is they accept walk-in customers and sold their last syringe to another customer the day before my appointment. They left a voicemail but I thought that's the confirmation call(this one is on me, but except the voicemail, no email, no text or anything). And when I arrived the next day, there's no syringe and I wanna cancel. What they told me is I can cancel but there's no refund, since the contract I signed says there's no refund for purchased products. But the funniest thing is the contract was signed by me the last time I went here for micro-needling. No matter how, they refused to cancel with refund and had a rlly bad attitude. I didn't wanna waste $822 and had to change my appointment to wait the new syringe come. (Rlly be careful when they asked you to pay in advance!!!If they ever told me this is not refundable, I wouldn't make the appointment.） 3. I have doubts with their injection procedure. Before my lip filler treatment, there isn't any sterilization. I don't think this is common for injection. They didn't clear my lips with swab, wipes or anything and just start to inject. Also, not many aftercare after treatment, they didn't apply any lip moisturizer until I said my lips feel super dry. I had a good experience with some of my laser treatments, less good with others (technician/doctor going really fast over my legs and missing spots). Then, the office called to let me know I had one treatment remaining on my package. I schedule and show up only to be told it was a mistake and I do not have a treatment remaining but I could purchase one. No thanks!! And I was turned away after their office had made the error. Very unfortunate experience at this place. I just want to warn people of color that even though this place caters to darker skin, you will still get burned. After several treatments with Hana, i got burned real bad. I am still doing damage assessment and meeting with other doctors to see what can be done with the skin damage. I hope and pray that my burns heal without serious permanent scarring or discoloration. I will not return to this place and was told by them after I requested a refund that I would not receive a refund and that burns are a risk associated with laser. Buyers beware. I've had great results with Sollay. I bought a groupon and have been very happy with it. Everytime the practitioner has been the same person and is clearly well trained in her position. I have been to other centers where I get a different person everytime and some are okay and some are not but I have not had that experience here. I find the front desk to be very kind and helpful too. I can feel that the laser is strong here so it hurts a little more than some other places I've been to but they do a thorough job and it works better than other places I've been to. I like that it feels like it is working. I will definitely continue to use sollay for other areas. A word of advice...don't go for laser hair removal the week before or during your period! The quality of the actual treatment is good, but scheduling has just been a nightmare. I've called (during business hours) with no answer, and left VMs/emailed with no response. I know things get busy, but since I purchased a groupon and already paid for my treatments, it'd be nice if I could actually USE them. When I AM finally able to get someone on the phone, it's very apparent have taken on way too many clients. It's near impossible to get an appointment. I had a nightmare experience coming here! I am getting married this October so I bought a groupon for an IPL for my face. I drove myself to the appointment after going over all of the risks and did not think I would have any issues. It was extremely painful and I should have known right away something was very wrong. Directly after the treatment I was experiencing very blurred vision. I asked the NP who completed my procedure if this was normal to which she replied no and walked away. I sat in the waiting room for a half hour after which no one offered to help me, get me a ride, or check in with me later that night/the next day. The next day I developed a very large blister under my right eye and was so swollen all over my face but especially around my eye I had looked like I got punched. I had waited two days to call in and send an email to this company with my concerns as well as pictures as to what I looked like. The replies were absolutely negligent as to my problems. Luckily, I was able to get seen by my dermatologist who diagnosed me with a second degree burn and prescribed me antibiotics as well as a wound ointment. She had told me that the person who did my procedure must have used settings too high and pressed too firmly against my face. The replies I received back from this company including the NP and manager were absolutely unprofessional and negligent. They said I signed the waiver stating the risks and therefore were no way reliable. Over back and forth phone calls and emails they refused to provide a refund for my doctors appointments or prescriptions. When I went to pick up in person my "refund" for the procedure the NP did not once make eye contact or ask how I was doing. Only after multiple attempts to ask for help did they offer me a treatment for blisters which I would never accept given how awful an experience I had. Do NOT come here!!! read more

She wanted to address price changes different from my originally quoted price as I was already in route to the facility 30 minutes before my session. I must say, I was very apprehensive to try laser here because of the pricing ! They're so affordable, I was thinking "this is too good to be true" ! I received my first laser treatment last month and the results have been amazing in just 5 weeks ! Unfortunately, after I had my son I started to over produce testosterone and grow hair under my chin (neck area) and my chin. I've gone 6 sessions for laser hair removal at another place and I literally saw no difference ! I came to Sollay, received a consultation and my service in the same day ! I will say the first day my skin was a bit bumpy like I had an allergic reaction but I put aloe on it and calmed my skin ! About 4/5 days later my skin looked lighter ( I have hyper pigmentation from the amount of shaving I've done) , it's softer, and I don't have to shave everyday !!! I'm sooo happy with my service ! Please please read every review before you choose to go here. Everything may look great on the pricing but not true. I paid $250.00 for weight loss 6 b-12 injections and a script for Phentermine. When I called to schedule my next B-12 injection and refill my medicine I was told it would cost $129.00 a month to come in get weighed and get my refill that is over $1500.00 a year keep in mind the medicine only cost 30.00 a month without Insurance so I was to pay $129.00 a month just to walk in door and get the refill CRAZY. I asked for a refund for my B-12 injections the girl said NO. I then asked that the Doctor to please call me no call. How do they justify someone paying that kind of money. Had I known I would have never started this process. I use to work there and quit because of shady business but heard there was new staff still shady. Great practitioners but horrible receptionists.I have had treatments by one PA who was excellent but left, and an NP who was very good. They are well trained and know what they are doing and account for the one star. Now for the receptionists: 1. It is difficult to schedule appts. They do not call back when you leave a voice mail so you have to keep calling. Once you have scheduled, they often call to reschedule and if you can't reschedule they do not seem to care. I went for a follow up and showed up early to what looked like a closed office and was told "we are closed did she not call to tell you?" 2. They also have told me things that were incorrect and because I doubted what they said I asked to have a practitioner call me back. When I did not receive a call back and called to complain I got a bunch of excuses but no apology or attempt at getting me in touch with a practitioner. 3. They are rude. They were rude to a friend who was going for her first appt so she never went. They have also been rude to me during my multiple phone calls, even though I have purchased two expensive packages from them. One example they will hang up on you without saying goodbye. Needless to say when my treatments are done I will not go back. I recommend that others spare themselves the trouble and find another place. read more
