I have seen Dr. G a few times for Dysport and always loved my results. He takes his time and you don't feel rushed. He explains the entire process well. I am a Registered Nurse and finding a clinician with a great bedside manner and communication skills is a must. This month, I decided to touch up my Dysport and add some filler. Over the course of the last couple years, I have had a complicated health history and a lot of stress. This coupled with turning 40 in a few months, I wanted to look less tired and more refreshed. At my appointment, to say I was nervous is an understatement. Dr. G and his staff were so patient and reassuring. He again took his time and we came up with a plan I was comfortable with. The whole process was much more comfortable that I was expecting and I was absolutely thrilled with the results. He asked to come back in a couple weeks to follow up. Over the course of the next couple weeks, I got so many compliments on my skin. I was much more confident and so happy with the results. At my follow up appt I decided I wanted to fill my lips. I was even more nervous with this because I have heard it can be painful. Again, Dr. G and his team were patient and got me awesome results. He numbed me well and I barely felt anything. It was mainly the anticipation and the unknown that I was nervous about. I have referred others and they have been thrilled with their results as well. I would never go to anyone else. Oh, I do want to add this. At this last appt, I was considering another area for filler. After a detailed exam, he didn't recommend it as I could possibly look puffy and I wanted a natural look. I'd been looking into getting lip fillers for a little while; mostly for my top lip, as it is thin and nearly disappears when I smile. I liked the photos on Dr. G's page the most, so I made an appointment with him. First I was met by his assistant. We discussed what my goals were and she suggested restylane kysse. The molecules in that formula are smaller and are better suited for small lips like mine. She and Dr. G both made sure I knew not to expect a very dramatic change after just one procedure and that I should only inject 1 syringe at this time. I think that this shows that they genuinely care about the outcome and aren't just out to get your money. Just before the procedure, Dr. G inspected my lips and pointed out some asymmetry that he was going to try to work around/correct. I told him I was nervous because I'd never had any work done before (and I'm super afraid of needles). He made sure that I was comfortable (and numb). I was told the procedure would be 15 minutes but it felt much faster. Afterwards I felt a little shaky, so I asked his assistant if it would be okay for me to sit and hang out for a bit until I feel better. As soon as I mentioned this, she went to grab me a water and some hard candy so I wouldn't faint. It was a really nice gesture and it helped a lot. After much contemplation over whether it was too soon to start getting under eye fillers, I finally decided to go for it after hearing amazing things about ProMD Health. Spoiler alert, I could not be happier with my decision! After a very brief wait, I was taken back to see Amy for a consultation. She listened to/understood all of my concerns and assured me that the result would be extremely natural! I dont love needles so I was a bit afraid of that part, but I was pleasantly surprised that it really did not hurt whatsoever. I did get a bit queasy which has happened to me before with shots, and Amy and her assistant immediately got me water, candies, and waited for the queasiness to subside before finishing the treatment. They were as nice and patient as could be, and I ended up feeling fine after a few minutes. The results looked amazing and I have gone back for a few other things since and have seen Amanda and Dr. George. Ive been so happy every single time!! A lot of girls in their 20s have insecurities over their changing skin, but its amazing how easy and long lasting the results from ProMD health have been. I would like to give credit where credit is due. I experienced an unfortunate scheduling error with Dr. Gavrilla's office that resulted in some lost time on my part, but resulted from an unforeseen and unfortunate reason for Dr. Gavrilla to take time away from the office. I wrote a negative review on Yelp, which I have happily retracted. Upon his return to the office, Dr. Gavrilla called personally to explain the circumstances and apologize for the scheduling mistake. His sincerity, compassion, and resolve were candid and deeply appreciated. After just a few minutes of talking, I shared this: that in my 25 years of teaching medical and nursing students, I found his reaching out to me to explain the situation and regret for inconvenience, to be one of the most significant things that he as a physician can do to engender the trust with me as a patient. In this day and age where physicians are under great pressure to see heavy caseloads of patients - Dr. Gavrilla's taking time to reach out personally was a sign of integrity that I truly admire. I now have a better appreciation of the comments from patients who have met him professionally. I'm from California where a little pick me up seems to be the norm. After moving to Baltimore, I saw it was less common for ladies to get botox, fillers, or any sort of work done. I've had amazing experiences going to ProMD Health. They've truly boosted my confidence and has helped me become the person I've always wanted to be. I first went to ProMD for Botox because of their unbelievable prices! (Seriously there prices are amazing for DC!). The facility is clean, organized, and a true medical establishment. I recently changed my Botox provider (from somewhere walkable to my house) because I wasn't seeing great results and because I didn't feel like they were tailoring treatments to me. I decided to see Amanda because I have heard such great things from friends and reviews online. Walking into the office was fun! Great music playing, great decor, and the girls at the front were super friendly. Amanda's assistant brought me back and explained everything and the recommended amount of Botox for the areas I wanted to treat. I decided to do less than she recommended simply because it was my usual units that I was previously getting and I always think less is more. Amanda didn't pressure me to get more Botox. I also usually get lightheaded whenever I get injections and I had no problem with Amanda. I barely felt the injections she was so quick and gentle. A breeze of an appointment. When I checked out the girl asked if I had a rewards account for Botox at my previous place. I did not- nor did I know that was a thing! Hello Beauties!! So I decided to bring in the new year by getting a chemical peel to slough off 2020 and ring in 2021. Katarina has once again done a phenomenal job of ensuring I'm getting the best care. She has taken me through a four phase facial over the last year and my skin is super soft and hydrated! Katarina pays attention to detail each time and delivers consistent results! I've started incorporating ZO Skin Health products and they are amazing a little goes a long way. Since getting the peel and receiving the hydrofacial with dermaplaning the products really penetrate deep into my skin and it's pliable and feeling rejuvenated hours after application. I've been going to ProMD Health for about a year now for Botox and B12 shots. The staff is wonderful - very professional, respectful, warm and welcoming. But I have to say that the star of this establishment is Dr. Gavrila. I had these ugly brown spots forming on the tops of my feet and they were getting worse each year. I had been to several doctors and podiatrists who told me they were broken blood vessels and there was nothing I could do to get rid of them... they told me they were as permanent as tattoos. Just on the off-chance that ProMD might have some other option for me, I told Dr. Gavrila about them and he told me that he was pretty sure I had a vitamin B deficiency and that they were definitely not permanent. Sure enough, I upped my vitamin B intake and they faded to almost nothing! I am truly amazed at Dr. Gavrila's knowledge, as well as his expertise in his field (when he gives me my Botox injections, I hardly feel them!). He always makes me feel good about myself. The cost of treatments are much less than other establishments, and they are expertly applied. I highly recommend this establishment for beauty treatments. Everything about it is 5-star! read more

Ok y'all, I'm really not much for reviews but I just gotta tell the world. I'm SO thankful I've found ProMD Health!!! Amanda Pittillo is THE BEST INJECTOR HANDS DOWN. She's also a RN and PA so you know she knows her stuff. Every time I come in the office I feel like I'm running into my girlfriends, they're so welcoming and warm and make you feel so special. I have a couple areas that bothered me and they were well educated on my needs and gave me lots of options and made sure I felt totally comfortable. I showed my sister my results and she was so impressed she started coming here too. I usually do a little Botox and my sister does Botox and fillers. Recently my daughter and I purchased a deal from living social for 20 units of Botox on Friday 1/31. Living social asked for a review of the experience on 2/3 and when reviewing the procedure, I returned a somewhat negative review as I expected to see immediate results from the injections. This was due to my lack of knowlege in how the procedure works and my skimming over the consent form. I was going to edit my original review from Living social but was unable to do so, so am posting the edit directly on the site. The people were very friendly and helpful. Although we had to wait a bit from our original appointment time, it was only about 15 minutes, not any different from any other doctor's office. The doctor was very cordial. When he read my review, he did phone me personally and explain how the procedure works and that it takes up to a week for the botox to actually freeze the injection areas. So I apologize for my ignorance.and for negativity of my review. Patience is a virtue that I sometimes lack. Saw the wonderful Ms. Amanda today for filler and Botox! Jasmine was her assistant who was so sweet, she gave me an ice pack before and after procedure which helped immensely. The staff is professional as well as compassionate,friendly,knowledgeable and helpful! I started seeing Dr Gavrila years ago with a Groupon (yikes) special. I drove all the way from Annapolis and I'm every mile on the Beltway was worth it. The office is clean, cheerful and well organized. The staff just makes you feel welcome. Amy is wonderful and I've been seeing her for years! I saw wonderful Amanda today with her assistant Jasmine. The receptionist was awesome to. Believe me you don't want to leave when you arrive. Who ever picks out the staff.. congratulations to you! It's not easy hiring and finding such great, loyal staff but they have done it. I could go every month.
