I only needed exterior cleaning so I opted for the mid-range $20 car wash. A worker is stationed at the entrance of the car wash that makes sure you are aligned on the track before entering. The kids enjoyed the light show as you move through the tunnel. My car was shiny and clean, including the overhang on the trunk that most car washes miss. The car wash uses soft microfiber clothes to wash your car though I'll always be concerned about the dreaded swirls in your paint. A few spots on my tires and side view mirrors were missed. Just two minutes after stepping out, I walked back in and was suddenly told we had to come back later. The communication was unprofessional, and the interaction itself was not kind. As a mother and daughter, it left us questioning whether we were being taken seriously as customers. We were ready to have two vehicles serviced one immediately and another scheduled- and had heard great things about your business, including your homemade air fresheners. Instead, we were dismissed without any attempt to keep our business. At the very least, you could have offered to schedule us or shown some effort to accommodate us. I don't mind paying more for good service, but I do expect to feel valued, and that did not happen here. First impressions matter. Being quoted, then turned away moments later, was frustrating and disappointing. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

During that discussion, I couldn't help but to notice both his professionalism and his passion to deliver a good product. I brought my 2018 Ram 1500 through this car wash and immediately after exiting, I noticed fresh scratches on the driver-side front bumper (knife edge). I reported it right away to the on-duty supervisor and took photos on the spot documenting the damage. The scratches are clearly horizontal and consistent with something dragging across the bumper during the wash process--not random wear or "preexisting damage" as was later claimed. I filed a claim, which was ultimately denied by corporate/insurance. They stated their decision was based on video evidence, but refused to provide that footage when I requested it, stating it is "proprietary." So to summarize: * Damage occurred during the wash and was reported immediately * Staff on site were professional and responsive * Photo evidence was provided * Claim was denied as "preexisting" * Video evidence used in their decision was not shared I've since canceled my memberships. I understand that issues can happen anywhere, but how a company handles them matters. Unfortunately, while the local staff handled things well, the corporate/insurance side of this experience was extremely disappointing. If you choose to use this location, I would strongly recommend inspecting your vehicle immediately before and after your wash.

So, after waiting, I asked the man who works there the price. He said $38. I said "just for washing the exterior and vacuum?" He said "oh that is $34, but to add the wax is $38." I said "ok, if it's only $5 more dollars." He said "keep the receipt in the window so they know." I did that. They never vacuumed my car. I just went through the tunnel wash. Then, they hand dried it...and told me keep going. As I drove away, I realized, they never vacuumed the car. I called multiple times and no one answered the phone. So, now my car is still not clean. This place seems like a complete ripoff.

Overall, it was a pretty decent detail. My car interior was pretty messy and it looks better than…read moreit did before. It is definitely clean, but after riding in it for one day, I've noticed some areas that they missed. I paid for the platinum package which is $230 for a crossover vehicle. The interior is leather, and with two kids the seats had spills and splashes. While those splashes are gone, my seats do not look conditioned as the package advertises. I'm guessing conditioned means that a conditioning product is applied to leather, but there's no slight shine to it. So I'm unsure if that was done. The e-brake area still has debris under it, a lot of it. So I was a bit disappointed that it was overlooked or forgotten about. The back and sides of my seats still had a little bit of specks on them, which didn't seemed wiped down completely. Windows were clean inside and out, so that was a plus. Tires were shiny and rims were cleaned. Carpets were vacuumed and shampooed. Trunk mat and carpet underneath were cleaned and vacuumed. The main reason why I'm not doing 4 stars is because I called the day before and we agreed on 9 AM the next day. At 9:15 I called and left a message. A couple minutes later I got a text saying they were running behind and that the crew would call me shortly. Not long after that, they called me to let me know they would be there in 30 mins. They got here at 10, technically an hour after what I was expecting, and I would've preferred to have gotten a text or call letting me know they would be late, instead of me waiting 15 mins to call and see what was going on. An hour into the job, they let me know they have to go back and get some equipment they forgot. An hour later, they were back. By 2:30 they were finally done. The men worked hard and did an overall good job. My car wasn't squeaky clean to begin with, and it is definitely cleaner now. But I wish the owner/crew would've notified me about being late sooner, and that they had all the equipment they needed for the job. The pricing seems on par with detailers in the DMV, but for that price, I would've loved a little more attention to detail and getting here on time with everything they need for the job.

Have you ever had one of those moments, on a freezing cold day, running late for work and when you finally rush out the door to start your commute to work...you noticed your tire is flat or has lost most of its air!? If so, you know my pain. Go figure, the joys of having a high-end sports ride and low profile tires!! The winter season can be ruff on low-profile tires or any car with a set of rims on them. I had an issue with one stubborn tire where I kept losing air in the tire due to a damaged rim and the crazy temperature changes lately here in DC. I had two separate auto shops try to repair the issue...with no success until I stumbled on Sharper Image ARS. What a great find?! These guys came recommended to me right on time by Mac's Tire (another life saver) in DC. Mac's does not repair rims, hence why I needed a specialty tire/rim repair shop like Sharper Image ARS. These guys know their stuff. I called and made an appointment for the same day. The Manager, Shawn Gray, was able to easily assess the issue, repair/resurface the rim almost to a new one, and seal the tire on the rim correctly. He went above and beyond to make sure the problem was fixed. My wheel was restored back to the original performance and I was really pleased with his work. No more having the need to fill my tire with air every couple of days...sometimes 2-3 times a week due to this issue. It's been two weeks of freezing cold weather and I haven't had another air leak or issue with the tire/rim since going to Sharper Image ARS. Just in time for the snow and blizzard this weekend! 5 Stars easily!! I would highly recommend checking these guys out if you are having tire/rim issues. Services also include car detailing, tire/rim sales, minor mechanic and bodywork services too. They are very professional and run a good, honest shop. ONE SIDE NOTE....I see some folks complaining about the business location. Do not be discouraged by the location or the looks of the establishment. They are legit and are currently renovating while operating their business.

This place does good work. Brought in my 2015 K900 to have 3 rims repaired along with some curb…read morerash removal. They explained that it would take 4 weeks due to the type of finish on my rims. They ended up finishing in about 2.5 - 3 weeks. The work was good, although the color was different from the original, which was fine, because it looks really good. There is nothing wrong the location as far as I can tell. My only suggestion would be for them to update the phone number on the business cards. Update: got another rim refinshed here. Looks great--awesome, professional work as usual!
