I was in the process of selling my house and we had an Open House scheduled for the weekend. I had my motorcycle parked in the driveway, and somehow misplaced the keys while moving out of the house. I discovered the keys missing that Friday, and of course the realtor wanted the bike moved. I called another locksmith (also found on Yelp) that wasn't available, and he recommended Gerry at Somers Lock & Key. I called him up and was pleased to hear that he would be able to stop by my house that evening to cut off the wheel lock so I could at least move it. He explained why re-keying the ignition/steering lock on this bike would take more time, and how much it would cost. He also mentioned that if I could find the key code that came with motorcycles paperwork, he could make me a new key at a fraction of the price! Indeed I had saved the papers and found the key code. He could have easily neglected to inform me of the code and charged me the much higher price, but he is an honest guy and wanted to help me out. In this day and age I have found many service companies trying to up-charge their services, making me somewhat weary when it comes to repairs. Honesty and integrity go a long way in my book, and Gerry has them both. I will recommend Gerry to anyone that asks for a good locksmith! read more

Said they are open 24hrs but had a sign on the window saying they are closed and a gate closed with no button to call to open to get to the front door. Called and they came out but didn't invite us in to the office. Had to wait outside in the heat while they went to check if they even had the blank key in stock to make the copies. They straight up didn't have one of the keys I needed and the other two they were looking into and only ended up have 1 of each kind. read more

Don't use this guy his reviews seemed to be cool, but now I found myself with keys that absolutely don't work, so now I'm at the dealership and on top of getting new keys that actually work I have now found that his cheap old crap machine has completely scrambled my cpu. I had purchased a set of jeep wrangler doors but they came without keys so I needed new ones. After getting price quotes from other Locksmiths, this business was less than half the price of the others. The Locksmith even had the original keys that were made for my Jeep doors from American Motors. I live in Vallejo and it was well worth the bridge toll. Excellent service.
