Jerry Somers came to the wharehouse where my stolen car had been impounded in Richmond; it was Thanksgiving night and he had to leave dinner with his Mom but he came and worked for nearly two hours to fix the ignition which had been broken by the car thieves. He had to take the whole starter area apart--it was cold and dark but he never gave up. I am not sure how he found the screws in the dark but he was really an excellent technician. He got my car running and it was so good to hear that engine start up. He worked out of his truck and cut me two extra keys as the old ones no longer worked. The whole job cost 120dols and he sure earned that money--I would recommend him to any one with a key or lock problem--considering it was a Holiday evening and he had to drive from his home as the car would not start I think the price was fair. He probably could have asked for more because the work took so long but he stuck with the lowest estimate. I was so greatful as I am on a limited income and had been so frustrated by having to wait all day only to find the car could not start. He is really an expert and honest. read more
