She knew exactly what to add to the gown (straps, belt) and took my feedback and what I liked and adapted throughout the appointment. I felt so supported and beautiful the ENTIRE time. The gown selection was one of the best I have seen, and they had a wide variety of sizes which I appreciated to really see how the gown will look in real life. The dresses are split up by price point, making it very easy to stay within your budget going into it. I cannot wait for my gown to come in! I was very wrong, as for men the only options they have are 5 suits in the entryway of the shop. The owner was the one helping me and my mother, to which we had to ignore all her sly comments throughout and making us feel dumb because what we were looking for "just isn't a thing." A cream colored dress shirt isn't a thing? Anyways.. We end up picking the suit right off a picture basically, nothing custom or changed about it, we were settling at this point. Paid, left. Still felt very unhappy, so one hour later we arrived at a different suit store, had exactly everything I wanted and more, they were astounded to hear the story about bridal connections, said they have frequently heard complaints about them. Purchased the exact suit I wanted and everything down to the shoes. Paid $60 less, and called to get a refund from bridal connections maybe 2 hours since leaving their store. Bridal connections told us NO refund, even though they haven't ordered the suit or sent the work order in yet, we still don't get a refund since we already paid for it. She cancelled the paperwork, and told me I'm out of luck bud. We are disputing the charge with our bank of course since no service was performed or received. Overall sorry for the long book I just wrote, I would HIGHLY recommend shopping at any other place , at least for suits. This is a MONEY GRAB and a SLIMEY way for a "small business" to do business. The insults we received, the terrible quality suits and small amount of options, they just want your money and to hold on to it as long as they can. Would've even loved the owner to reach out and ask me what's wrong with the purchase, no. Complete shutdown once they receive payment. Cassidy messaged back quickly explaining how to book an appointment but also encouraging us to just come in given the circumstance. When we walked in every crew member acknowledged us and Cassidy introduced herself and are consultant, Ace. My expectation was that they would pull out a few dresses that just might fit, however what they had in sizes up to 30 were several dresses in several colors and several styles to choose from. Although Ace was serving another customer she somehow managed to be mindful and ready to help at any moment. My granddaughter tried on several dresses in several styles and was able to even try on a couple that were too big, which is an unusual thing and totally unexpected. Ace was right there to provide feedback on each dress and help making sure it was on properly and suggestions as to modifications that would help it fit best. Each of the dresses were well made with quality material and excellent sewing. When we left the store I truly was not sure if I was more pleased with the dress or more pleased with the experience that they offered. We left with an amazing ball gown that was priced more than fairly, but a day later I have to say what was most valuable was the incredible experience from the first message received back from Cassidy, to every face acknowledging us when we walked in the door to the abundance of beautiful dresses and gowns to choose from, to being able to try on something a bit too big, and the one-on-one assistance Ace was able to provide us. I think of the experience as unexpected because I did not expect to leave the store with a dress and I did not expect the Queen for a Day experience the team provided. The lighting is dark and uneven, making it hard to see true colors. There are no mirrors in the dressing rooms, so you have to come out to the main floor -- but there aren't enough mirrors, which means waiting in line just to look at the dress. This caused crowding even though the store wasn't very busy. Prom dress shopping should be exciting. Unfortunately, this experience wasn't.

The woman who was running the shop was shuttling clothes that I had pulled off the rack into my fitting room throughout my shop and was just so friendly and exuberant, while also giving me the space to shop and peruse at my own pace. I ended up getting a staple kind of black/gray denim button up shirt that will be great for the fall and spring weather and for layering throughout the colder months! I also got two sweaters that had a fun corgi print on them to gift to my corgi-loving friends! The pricing was reasonable here compared to what I normally associate with boutiques as well (these sweaters/denim jackets all averaged in the $40-50 range), so I really appreciated that. We were taken over to a poster to show the our salesperson the sales we were interested in. She measured each one returned right away with dress that fit each of us. This was a huge positive as when had been to another bridal store that didn't have many sample dresses we could try on. The only disappointment is I decided on a dress (we all get to pick our own style) and the sales girl said I'll be back I have to check something. When she returned she told me they couldn't get the dress I chose in my bride's color. I wish I had know that before I decided that dress looked the best on me.

I went in looking for two elegant, edgy gowns and they wanted me to go find a matronly dress. When I found a couple of possibilities (without assistance), I requested a fitting room. I'm not sure why they felt it necessary to write my name on the chalkboard for the fitting room door. No one ever came to check on me, offer to assist with zippers, or GASP....
