They have some amazing dresses and are definitely worth the time and effort to go through them. I ordered my dresses right before Thanksgiving for my wedding and was given an arrival estimate of 12 weeks. Perfect. More than enough time for altering. 12 weeks came. 12 weeks went. 13. 14. Ashley took a lot of her time to track down my dresses - sitting on a loading dock in California and then in Dallas TX - due to a shipping strike! Couldn't believe it. She was so apologetic and kept me in the loop on everything so I was never wondering what was going on or where my dresses were. She was absolutely on top of everything. I couldn't have asked for a better advocate for me and my bridal party! The dresses came in on time and looked gorgeous. Everybody loved their dresses and I was SO pleased. And every single Modern Dress employee was an absolute doll. Loved working with all of them. Definitely go here for your prom, bridal or any other special occasion dresses.

She knew exactly what to add to the gown (straps, belt) and took my feedback and what I liked and adapted throughout the appointment. I felt so supported and beautiful the ENTIRE time. The gown selection was one of the best I have seen, and they had a wide variety of sizes which I appreciated to really see how the gown will look in real life. The dresses are split up by price point, making it very easy to stay within your budget going into it. I cannot wait for my gown to come in! I was very wrong, as for men the only options they have are 5 suits in the entryway of the shop. The owner was the one helping me and my mother, to which we had to ignore all her sly comments throughout and making us feel dumb because what we were looking for "just isn't a thing." A cream colored dress shirt isn't a thing? Anyways.. We end up picking the suit right off a picture basically, nothing custom or changed about it, we were settling at this point. Paid, left. Still felt very unhappy, so one hour later we arrived at a different suit store, had exactly everything I wanted and more, they were astounded to hear the story about bridal connections, said they have frequently heard complaints about them. Purchased the exact suit I wanted and everything down to the shoes. Paid $60 less, and called to get a refund from bridal connections maybe 2 hours since leaving their store. Bridal connections told us NO refund, even though they haven't ordered the suit or sent the work order in yet, we still don't get a refund since we already paid for it. She cancelled the paperwork, and told me I'm out of luck bud. We are disputing the charge with our bank of course since no service was performed or received. Overall sorry for the long book I just wrote, I would HIGHLY recommend shopping at any other place , at least for suits. This is a MONEY GRAB and a SLIMEY way for a "small business" to do business. The insults we received, the terrible quality suits and small amount of options, they just want your money and to hold on to it as long as they can. Would've even loved the owner to reach out and ask me what's wrong with the purchase, no. Complete shutdown once they receive payment. Please don't waste your money and time going here, and if they insult you I would hope you speak up for yourself unlike how we didn't!

I found my wedding dress, veil, and jewelry at Something Blue. The gals who work there are very knowledgeable and it was easy to find "the one". They even gave me suggestions on our color scheme since I picked an off white dress. I cannot day enough good things about their seamstress, JoDee. She was SO helpful and kind throughout the alterations process. She even helped me pick my veil and jewelry! She works fast and is an invaluable asset to this store. We ended up using her for my mom's "mother of the bride" dress alterations, too. We were very last minute about it, but she worked us in and did an excellent job! read more

This was the second place I went to look for a wedding dress after the first place had terrible customer service and they rushed through my appointment didn't help me with anything.
