My daughter has been going here for 2 years and we are so grateful to have found it. We were nervous at first like any parents but after touring multiple facilities, this place felt right. We are bilingual and only speak our language to her at home, and she can count to 20, knows her colors and also can communicate in both languages. They are patient with her and teach her English items so I know they invest into children's education, and not just a drop off facility like other locations. They limit or have almost no screen time, huge playground, bikes, and anything a kid would want. Our daughter loves them too and all her friends there. They sanitize and wash everything DAILY and security is awesome. Definitely check this place out if looking for daycare. We have baby #2 on the way and know they will do great with them too. Price is awesome, care is great, staff is friendly, safe, sanitary, owner is understanding and involved, 100% recommend to everyone that asks us. read more

I have had my kids with Something Extra Preschool for several years (my 4 year old has been there since 1, and my 1 year old has been there off and on his first year). The entire staff is amazing! They truly treat your kids like their own. They overly communicate with you about anything pertaining to your child whether it be needs or a boo boo which I appreciate so much. They have a cool app that they use to post updates on your child throughout the day (what they ate, when they slept, diaper changes, play time, etc.). They also use that app as a messenger and parents can communicate through it at any time (trust me, I sent something in late at night just so I wouldn't forget about it and almost instantly got a response). I can't say enough nice things about all the ladies that work there! They all tell my kids they love them and give them big hugs, help me keep them on track with behavior and manners, are super encouraging to them and stern enough when needed to help mold my children into decent little human beings. Everything is super clean and organized. They are constantly planning fun, unique activities to do with the kids all throughout the year. The owner, Jamie, is dedicated to creating a family environment and offers a ton of events for everyone in the family to participate in. From family barbecues, pumpkin patch trips, ice cream social, grand parents days, various holiday celebrations and more - I love being able to meet the other parents and enjoy a fun gathering while seeing my littles play with their school friends. They are really good about being adaptive to each child's needs too. They create structure to maintain a routine for all the kids, but if yours is having an off day or requires medicine or extra love - they are really good about providing that. I love that at the end of each year I get a big ol binder/portfolio hand made by the teachers showing some of my kids art projects and a ton of photos - it's like a little preschool yearbook (even for the infants!) and it's an item I'll treasure forever! Overall, I feel safe having my children cared for there. Their facility is super secure (they have an app you download with specific access so you can allow yourself in the building - so no strangers can just walk in!). They also provide all of your snacks and meals if you want which is super helpful and everything seems healthy and kid friendly. Their rates are EXTREMELY reasonable and the owner is very forgiving with payments if you need some time (just be sure to communicate!) My kids attended a couple in-home daycare centers prior to attending Something Extra Preschool. Once we started here at Something Extra, we IMMEDIATELY noticed a difference in the quality of care toward our kids. The staff is so loving and attentive toward the children. They communicate clearly with parents. I love that all the staff members treat my kids like family, and they have a fantastic rapport with both children and parents alike. They use an app that logs the children's meals, naps, diapers, and activities. They even post photos and videos of your child participating in play, crafts, etc. I feel so secure leaving my now toddler and preschooler (we started with a toddler and infant) with Something Extra, and I have already urged my friends, family, and coworkers to send their children here too. Now, my issue is not with the quality of care being less than par; rather, my kids don't want to come home as they have too much fun with the other students and staff here at Something Extra!! read more

Child went here for over a year still cannot recognize all numbers 1-20. Struggles with letters also. This is just somewhere to dump your kids and they will learn nothing. Quite dirty too with no security can walk straight threw this place front door six foot tall 300 pound male and no one cared to ask who I was except the lunch lady after standing there. As a previous employee at Something Extra I truly enjoyed the way the school was ran and the obvious care that the owner put into her school. The teacher were held to a certain standard and the children always come first! This is a excellent school. read more

I can't say enough good things about Something Extra, they are just wonderful! I was so nervous moving and finding a new daycare for my son, but I know I made the right choice. They very quickly put my nerves at ease. To start, in less than a week, they had my son off the pacifier! I dreaded this myself because I wasn't ready for big tears but I had none, it was amazing! My son has a speech delay and has made tremendous progress since starting here and I know part of that is because they work so hard with both of us. The staff is very good about keeping me informed of anything happening with my son, good or bad. They work very closely with me to make sure everyone is on the same page. We are always greated with a "good morning" and a smile. You can see just how much everyone cares for the kids. Not only does my son seem to be happy being here but so do the other kids, its rare that you see a child upset during pickups or drop offs because they always seem to be having fun, though I'm sure they have their fair share of toddler meltdowns since that's normal . I am so happy I found them and would recommend them to anyone looking for child care. read more
