And am so grateful I don't get a review over it. But this was a situation that constitutes a bad review. I tried to order flowers for my MIL for Mother's Day. I live in California, so instead of using a big company I thought I'd like to pick a flower shop in town to benefit a small business. I paid $95 for flowers and thought I had ordered some flowers to be delivered on Mother's Day. Come to find out my MIL said some flowers were thrown on her porch without a vase . When I called shop to see what had happened trying to see if it was them, or if I had somehow been connected to 1800flowers or something on their website, the owner never let me talk. I had he on speaker phone in car after church on my own Mother's Day and had my whole family in car as she told me they would never do that and when I tried , I tried so hard to talk, but she kept talking over me. I couldn't get a word in at all. I had to just hang up because I was shaking and red trying to get a word in. I just wanted to find out if it wasn't her than who could it had been since she said she had stopped taking orders that day. I was honestly trying to get to the bottom of it all. I wasn't pointing fingers. She texts me after I hang up saying she found my order and she'll deliver them on Tuesday. At this point I'm so happy because I really didn't want to have to leave a bad review and I just wanted my MiL to have flowers. So Tuesday would be fine. I told her I was excited to find a florist in town cause I was gonna be sending flowers all the time. So then Tuesday comes and it's 2:30 and I text why hasn't my MIL receive flowers? She responds that she was gonna do it the next day (Wednesday- even tho she told me Tuesday ) when she was going to shop. So I'm totally confused and call her and it's same thing I can't talk and she's pretty defensive and just loud and won't listen to her customers. She is saying I put the 21 of May on my delivery date. Honestly maybe I did cause my daughter is graduating that day and I'm all over the place trying to do all the things. So she says it's really my fault: AND THIS IS WHY I TRIED TO CALL ON mother's DAY TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON, was it something I did? They did? Someone else!? But I couldn't get any way to communicate without her speaking to me the way she did. I never did get flowers. I asked for money back and she kept $20. So I paid $20 to be yelled at. I never found out who threw flowers on porch either Recap: I have worked in flower shops, and I have done a lot of customer service. This place does not handle stress well and puts it all on customers. She told me basically I was an idiot and waited to last minute to order the flowers "and who does that??" and still never took flowers. I got a text saying my flowers were delivered and they weren't, I told her I was gonna have to leave a review because she needs some kind of accountability and she told me basically I was an idiot and it was all my fault for putting wrong date and not checking. She said she didn't give a rats ass- Do you know how many times customers put wrong date and I have to fix? You just fix it . You just do your best to accommodate the customer especially when they told you they want to use you a lot. I am so frustrated still that I didn't get my full refund and I am still fighting this place. I get anxious at the thought of calling cause she just yells at me, and doesn't listen. I am walking away defeated, insulted, frustrated and $20 lighter. For nothing!!!!!

I suppose you could find a company in Vegas, but delivery would probably cost a fortune. Plus it is pretty warm this time of year... Mother's Day was May 10th this year, but Absolutely Flowers does not deliver on Sunday. Even less desirable was the fact that my mama-in-law would be leaving that Monday out-of-town, so I requested a delivery date of Friday, May 8th so she could enjoy them the entire weekend. When I didn't hear anything late into the afternoon from my husband's mom which is quite atypical, I began to worry. I called AF at around 4:40 PST, but reached sort of the "corporate call center" or whatever. I was skeptical, but they passed my message on to the Pahrump store that a delivery to her address had yet to be made. The AF local number started with an automated message system, but finally I reached a human. It was rather time-consuming to talk to this woman quite frankly because she wanted basically all the info I had given to order the flowers in the first place and I had to repeat and/or spell almost. Every. Single. Thing. For. Her! Two hours later (at 6:41 p.m.), my mama-in-law texts me a picture of the fresh-looking bouquet and says she loves them... this was soon after the delivery had been made. The ordering process was very easy. A lady named Leona (sp?) took my order, but didn't specify when the delivery might be made. I guess I should have asked. I told her I wanted mostly pink and purple flowers with a maximum of $50 for the order. With delivery, it came out to $69.40. They were the most beautiful white roses I had ever seen in my entire life and they lasted for a solid two weeks. I probably could've kept them for longer. So of course, I decided to use them myself for birthday/graduation flowers as a gift for someone. I got 18 longstem hot pink roses with a beautiful black and gold black ribbon. They not only have the most fresh/beautiful flowers, but they also have great customer service. Not to mention their prices for what you actually receive are incredible!!! I highly recommend this florist as I believe it is the absolute best in Vegas! Thank you!!
