When we went to the appointment we were told that not only was the part not in (he told me the part would be in 3 days ago but that the appointment is only dropping off and then coming back, I guess, whenever.... Very happy. After a dismal outcome from Best Buy they hooked up my speakers and installed Amp and I can't tell you incredible difference in sound. first off was told 3 hours; dropped off at 1000 and then called once those 3 hours were done and said he was 3/4 done and still took even longer and was not until 1630 before he finished. was a simple install of DS18 sound bar on wife jeep, and even crossed wires, and didn't even know to get the radio to communicate to the speakers, ended up wiring into subwoofer setting. so totally charged $800 + for a shody/half assed install, and then didn't even connect dome light to switch (as door are off its a jeep) and didn't even remove all factory wires (just left in place and zip tied next to aftermarket wires). And they are supposed to be professionals and couldn't do simple install nor get radio to communicate with speakers......come on now.....never will go back, nor will i refer anyone. stay away save your money..... read more

This is the second time I have had the opportunity to use SOMMER SOUND SYSTEMS and again have been very impressed with the professionalism, the product and the workmanship. First time we had a stereo installed in our high top van and Bill did a remarkable job. This time we wanted to add the OEM camera view from the rear view mirror so it showed on the stereo screen and again Bill did an outstanding job. They sold me a radio that I later found out was almost 2 years old. It never worked properly. After 6 weeks and numerous phone calls, the manufacturer replaced the radio. Sommer Sound Systems kept charging me for extra parts just to make the radio work with the controls as it should. The $300 radio ended up costing me nearly $800. Poor communication read more

Had a 4 gauge amp kit installed, their kits were a bit pricey, so I bought one online for a lot less and had it installed. The install itself was about 30% cheaper than nearby Wattsound, and about the same as Best Buy. Just wish they wouldn't have cut the ground so short, makes it really hard to position the amplifier where desired. But overall, I'm satisfied with the work they did. read more
