The greens were the complete opposite--they were extremely tough, and I found myself chewing them for several minutes. The flavor was also unusual and difficult to identify. The fried chicken was seasoned, but the seasoning seemed to be mostly on the skin. The meat itself was bland, and the chicken had a burnt taste while the skin was still undercooked. The cornbread muffin was probably the biggest disappointment. It was extremely hard, to the point that I was concerned about breaking a tooth. The picture really speaks for itself. I understand that an occasional meal may not turn out perfectly, so I'm willing to give this business another try. I sincerely hope this was just an off day and not representative of the quality they normally serve. I drove well over two hours JUST TO GET THERE and once we were there we had to wait until they had enough people to seat a whole table, no problem there.
