It's difficult to find a high end photography studio that not only will capture your precious family, but also welcomes your pet(s). I wanted to have a sitting for my dog, who is half Rottweiler and a big boy. I thought my only choices would be to pay outrageous fees for a pet photographer, or go to a mall store with typically substandard people behind the camera. If I was to go that route, I was concerned that, because of his breed and size, that I would have to arrive after hours, as I had to for my 2 collies ( one a 4 month old pup) because the store manager there believed my collies would scare their customers. Kathy welcomed my dog into her studio. Once there, I not only saw beautiful photographs of dogs, but also lovely location and in studio photographs of people. When I returned to her studio ( at MY convenience), to choose which poses I liked, it was apparent that Kathy not only photographed my dog, but also was able, during the sitting, to learn the " essence" of River. She could pinpoint which poses were true to his personality almost as well as I could. Kathy was able to find a great framing idea for me, so that I could have more than one pose at an affordable price. My profile photo was taken by her in her studio. I just got my prints and photo albumn back from Kathy after our session with my kids. We did a great outdoor session and the pictures are so amazing they look like something from a postcard! Not only did Kathy manage to keep my kids entertained during the entire session but she managed to capture their beautiful smiles and it is almost like you can hear them playing when you look at the pictures! I must say also that my kids both wear glasses and taking pictures of them outside can be quite a challenge as many photographers end up with a glare on their eyes.
