Since the first interaction Melissa and I shared through email, my husband and I knew she would be our baby photographer. She was attentive, detailed, experienced, and overall just a kind-hearted person. She always responded to all my emails and answered all my questions. After we booked her, meeting her on Zoom video call was wonderful. She is just so sweet and thoughtful. She really listens to what the clients wants and needs. When Melissa came to our home for the photography session, it was just such a great experience. She brings in so much positive energy, she's smiling, she's conversing, she's a delight! She came and set up at my home at 8am and didn't leave until 2pm in order to get all the shots I wanted. My little guy didn't want to sleep. Can't believe I forgot to write a review! (I'm so sorry Melissa!) Melissa photographed my baby girl when she was only 8 days old. She did an AMAZING job! As a new mom, I was completely unsure how to help. Not much was needed from me because Melissa is an expert at gently handling babies and safely positioning them for a great shot. She had many props and accessories available to use that I really didn't bring anything except props for the special request of a Harry Potter set. The photo shoot never felt rushed. Honestly, Melissa is an awesome photographer! I'm so glad we did a session with her. She is amazing with newborns! She pays attention to the little details and can swaddle a baby like no other! She understands what it's like to take photos with toddlers and plans around them to get the shot! She came to our house, set up and spent 5 hours with us! I don't even know where to start with this review. Melissa is absolutely incredible! We have used her for both our boys newborn pictures. She brings her whole set up with tons of swaddles and blankets and buckets and basically everything you could want for your pictures. She transformed our living room into a studio.
