I wanted a few very specific things (that included leaving our venue for 45 minutes) and Ashley was not just on board but had suggestions to make them better. After this she provided clear pricing tiers and I felt like I had so much autonomy in what I was paying for. Throughout the planning process Ashley was a great resource and she pivoted many times tk make sure we had everything captured before the ceremony started. Then came the wedding weekend. And Ashley outperformed even what I was expecting. We opted to have her at our rehearsal dinner and I cannot recommend this enough. Having her getting to know the key players in our wedding day was so helpful. All of our family and friends talked about how much they loved getting to talk with her and get nice family portraits during this time. As he was shooting, he was conscious of the lighting, the drapery, and didn't just click away, studied me as a subject and guided me on poses to consider. His instructions were clear and there was absolutely no guesswork. And after each session, he would let me take a peek at the viewfinder, and I can still recall the squeals of excitement As I was finding a hard time recognizing the super model in frame! But that is truly the magic of Matthew Mitchell, he is a wizard. There are many photographers in this world, but the gym and diamond quality that Matthew Mitchell is brings the meaning to a whole new level. My friends and I were staying at the Highball House and recently saw that the owners (Grace Helbig…read moreand Mamrie Hart) had their auras read. I was super interested so looked into it and decided to book someone from Soulglow to come to the house and do our aura photos. You can also book an appointment at their studio. Contacting them was pretty easy through their website, and they were pretty quick to respond at first. I did have some delays in hearing from them throughout the scheduling process, but I think the owner was traveling. I actually stopped in to the studio to check in the day before, and we got everything squared away for our time slot. Natasha arrived at our house and got everything set up. She just needed a room that could be fairly dark and enough space for the camera and a little bench. Then once the group had their photos taken, we gathered in the living room and she interpreted them for us. This experience was honestly so incredible. I know some people might think it's "woo-woo" nonsense, but the readings were so accurate and spot on for everyone in our group, it blew my mind. I loved hearing more about each of our auras, which were all different. We each got our photo, a guide that talks a bit about the different colors and what they mean, as well as a special crystal based on the energies in our photos. I would absolutely love to do this again someday! It was such a special experience for our girls' weekend.
