Once at the reception when it came the time to cut the cake it was hard and impossible to cut, it almost felt like the cake was in a freezer from the day before. The cake was vanilla with strawberry filling and it tasted like a poorly done box cake with the edge almost burnt and barely any filling. I asked for a foundant cake and they told me they do not work with foundant, only regular frosting but hey will assure me it will look great. The cake looked like like someone made a cake for the first time, it was hard dense and hard to even swallow. It was a total disappointment and I would never order from them again. Too bad I looked up the reviews of this place after my wedding. Stay away from this place if you want a nice wedding cake.

Fabulous! We ordered 130 cupcakes for our wedding: Dubai chocolate pistachio, vanilla, carrot, coconut, chocolate raspberry, and lemon blueberry. They were a huge hit--every flavor was completely gone except the lemon blueberry cupcakes. Carl was super easy to coordinate with and very flexible about the flavor breakdowns. I'd heard that people often skip dessert at weddings, but that definitely wasn't the case with these cupcakes! The cupcakes were delicious and actually quite large. I love Sonia's sweets! After seeing on facebook that she made cupcakes in order to donate proceeds to those who have suffered through Hurricane Harvey I had to stop by! She had made the most delicious Texas sheet cake cupcakes with chocolate icing sprinkled with pecans! And let me tell you, that was no average icing! So i got 4 to share with my family. Sonia is the best baker in the area in my opinion. Reasonably priced and always gives me something beautiful. I've gotten quite a few cakes or cupcakes from her for special occasions she even makes me keto ones! The only thing I would say that is not necessarily a negative, but I think it is just good to know is to not expect this place to be cheap. Just because it's in a small town are off a roadside.
