My Reuben was just okay, and the fries (an upcharge) were terrible. The person with me ordered "mild" tenders and couldn't finish them because they were unexpectedly spicy. Service was passable, but then the check arrived with a credit‑card surcharge that was never disclosed anywhere beforehand. That alone is enough to annoy customers, but the real deal‑breaker was the restroom: no soap. If guests can't wash their hands, that means kitchen staff can't either. Absolutely unacceptable. Typical bar food; chicken fingers with wing sauce, broccoli bites, mozzarella sticks- everything fried to perfection. Our waitress could have been better. We sat for a while before she showed up and didn't have menus or anything. In the beginning it was like we were a burden to her and her asking about our order was an annoyance because we weren't ready due to her delaying coming to our table and not having menus. My husband at the French Dip and he said it was excellent. I had a crock of their chili and it had a lot of flavor. If you like spice, this is it! I've been to this local place 5-6 times. Let me start by saying everything I've had here has been awesome food. The Monte Christo is amazing and loaded with meat. The blackened chicken wrap is awesome as well as "the best sandwich ever" yes that's what it's called. They have a juke box here too which is really cool (sorry for the random sentence) Everything is very moderately priced on top of the great food and service. Seems nothing is over $10 on the menu. Avoid this place!!! If you like good customer service. The bartender does not like new customers. Ordered a salad and ask for dressing options. He stated, I was pushing it. had one drink and waited for that salad for over 30 minutes. He looked at my empty glass, never ask if I wanted a refill and never went to the kitchen to get my food. When I ask for the check he looked surprise and slammed it on the bar. He reminded me of a grown man living in his parents basement. So I gave him a $2 tip. i used to go here all the time. the guy at the door thinks he mocho man -He thinks were in the Military. Hes always nasty, he makes everyone feel very uncomfortable all the time. he is always rude and disrespectful for no reason. the bar and tables always smell and are always very dirty, its horrible and very unsanitary. definitely not up to code. the bathrooms are always filthy dirty discusting. if you ask for toilet paper they give you an attitude. the bartenders espically the girls are always nasty and rude everytime i go in there. whenever any of my friends go in there they have issues as well. the prices are always different each and everytime time we all go there. theres always an issue if you ask about it they get nasty and defensive and if you respond the same way they treat you, they get nasty. i give what i get, i wont allow anyone to disrespect me. im extremely generous giving them good business and amazing tips more then 30% everytime im there. they lost an extremely good customer including several other customers that were with me. several of us go every week but we will all go elsewhere. i will make sure to let everyone know not to go there. they dont deserve our business or anyones business. no one should treat anyone that way. its poor service and horrible staff very, very unprofessional. read more

Been coming here for years and year. Since college and the occasion visits post graduation. Wings are fantastic. Usually perfect and the McHale sauce is probably my favorite sauce I've ever had. A cool spot we found staying overnight in Strousburg. We were just passing through and needed to get some sleep from our long drive and before we headed to get some rest at the Penn Stroud hotel around the corner we came to floods for dinner. This was my favorite bar in college and always a stop whenever I'm in town. I'm always glad to see many of the same bartenders and waitresses, a decade later. Ok so the breakdown: Cheap drinks. I don't really want to date myself but... when I was a kid in Brooklyn in the early 90s, there was this old school bar and diner place that served up the best chicken cutlet sandwiches ever. I feel like I only ever went there after a funeral, but In any case, strong memories of these great sandwiches at this place. Lunch at Flood's brought me right back to my childhood, down to the wood paneled walls, the bar seating, and the AMAZING chicken sandwiches. They were perfection, with the huge slices of ripe tomato, and excellent pickle spear. Apparently they do hot sauces, because they brought me some great ones! I would love to come back for some wings with those hot sauces. I saw a bunch of sandwiches go out, and I wanted to try them all, probably starting with the turkey club. Basically, a neighborhoody Irish pub with cheery waitstaff, lots of loud locals, and a ton of beer. Exactly what it tries to be. I would be here a lot more often if the commute from NYC wasn't so long... The meters right outside are only $.25 for an hour... so get change for a dollar and stay for awhile. read more

Best bar food in town. Huge burgers, great sandwiches, onion rings to die for. Beers from around the world listed on the placemat. Bartenders are spot-on, if a beer hasn't been poured in a while they'll happily re-pour it for you if you ask. And when you have that many beers on tap, some of the less popular ones can sit for a day. Waitresses can be great or just ok. The gals that have been there forever are the best around. A little training for the newbies wouldn't hurt but they do learn fast or they don't survive. The ones with great attitudes make it. There were eight or so rotating craft drafts as well as other drafts offered year-round. I ordered some chicken tenders alongside my beer. They were thin and had more breading than chicken meat. I think the chicken wings would have been a better option. I chose to have the tenders with the big jon sauce - Flood's spiciest sauce. I would disclaim that it's one of the spiciest wing sauces I've tried. I found it to be dry and not flavorful. We also ordered a cupcake which are delivered daily from a bakery. Went here last Tuesday with some of my coworkers for wing night. We were a large group (10 people) but they were able to sit us right away. This bar is on the smaller side but they make up for it by having plenty of different seating options (booths, tables, standing tables, & bar seats). The bar is dimly lit & they have a few tv's at the bar with different sporting games on. They also had a live performer throughout the night playing a ton of different cover songs. When our waiter came to take our order he decided to give us all numbers so that there would be no confusion with food orders & bills. This actually worked out perfectly as ordering, receiving the food, & paying the bill went smoothly because of this. On Tuesday night's at this bar wings cost 10cents. There are plenty of different sauced to choose from & you order by the half dozen. On this night I ordered 6 Thai Chili & 6 Spicy BBQ. Both flavors of wings were excellent. The wings along were very crunchy & to go along with that, the thai chili was vey tangy & the spicy BBQ had the perfect blend of spice & sweetness on them. I devoured my dozen wings rather quickly & should have ordered more! Overall, wing night here was a great experience. The only thing keeping this bar from a 5 star was that the live performer was a tad bit too loud & there were times when I could not hear my friend next to me.
