We will not be going back to the sonic again. Food was marginal and the staff, including the manager are extremely rude.

NASTY!!! They always have wilted toppings on their burgers at everything location! Especially this one. Also I think one of their card readers have been compressed. One week where I didn't even go there for food there was a charge on my account at this location. Luckily my bank refunded the fraud charge back to me. I will never go here again. read more

Been there three times cause its local. Its terrible. The service is slow. The food is way below par. The service is terrible. And its difficult to get into and out of the location. Our local Sonic, really disappoints! Food is constantly delivered wrong, no onions truly means NO onions. (insert eye roll here) Lastly, we went for just ice cream and not only did the order take forever but then had to call for a refund due to ill preparation. A candy mix, not sure what they call theirs, with absolutely no candy in it, just the soft serve. A banana cream pie shake that had a half of unblended banana in it! A small shake that was two thirds banana. The lack of care is shown over and over again with the preparation of food. Its ice cream and hamburgers, not rocket science. Lets show a little care and some pride in what we are doing!!! So disappointing as living so nearby, but not able to continue to stop here!!! Oh and their hours are wrong online as well! After driving in from a late night game with hungry teenager, pulled in and told that they actually closed a hour earlier than what both their Facebook page and online showed!!! Waiting in a drive-through with one other car for HALF AN HOUR for our food is not what I would call good service

During a 3 day visit home, I stopped at Sonic twice. I can't decide between 3 or 4 stars. Obviously, I enjoy Sonic, but it's not particularly great. The onion rings are sweet. The tots are good. The milkshake -OK. Chicken sandwich - OK. The cherry lime aid - amazing. I didn't actually have the cherry lime aid, hence the disappointment. Bonus points for being open until midnight! read more

For some reason they refuse to put bacon on a burger. Don't know why they will add everything else I have added to my burger, but are blind as hell when it comes to seeing that I've paid to add bacon. read more

Went to sonic with another Aledo isd teacher today to get drinks for our team for lunch. We frequently stop at this sonic several times a week and love supporting local businesses, however we had such an unpleasant experience today that it will be awhile before we return. We weren't sure if our order was correct, and when we questioned it, the assistant manager came out with the worst attitude and basically treated us like we were stupid. It was completely unprofessional, rude, and degrading in how she talked to us. We will take out business elsewhere which is disappointing because we really enjoyed our Friday drink stop! read more

This sonic used to be awesome. Me and my husband came here twice a week for ice cream. But the last five times ( this winter )we've come here, the ice cream has been almost completely melted. Really crappy when you're spending $10 on ice cream. We would skip weeks hoping it was better. Nope. Won't be back. This was literally all Aledo had to offer. read more

Went there for a strawberry shake. They kept messing up the order, size and quantity, and once they got it right I went to pay with my card and it bypassed the option letting me, so I had to pay with cash and when I handed the money to the young lady she just turned and walked off. I hollered "my change" and she just kept walking. I was ticked, she could have at least asked about the change but the sense of entitlement was unbelievable. It has taken 30 minutes to get two waters and a cherry lime made while other people have been getting their orders. I have checked up on my order and "it will be out shortly" is their excuse. Don't waste your time and money here like I did. read more

I love my hometown sonic. The owners and management must really care about this location, and it shows. The staff is very polite and quick. It gets busy around the time school gets out and sometimes in the mornings, but it never changes the quality of service. There are other sonics closer to work for me, but I never get as good of service there. My food has never been cold, wrong, bad, or slow here EVER. The store is always clean and festive. I LOVE this sonic. read more

I do not like the disrespect they show their neighbors by shinning their lights directly in my back yard. I can't even see my dogs in the yard at night and keep my kitchen blind closed. Did not move to the country 15yrs ago to have a fast food restaurant in my back yard. At least lower the spot light to your own property read more

Sonic Drive-In - Burgers Near Me - Aledo, Texas

Typically I dont write reviews, positive or negative, unless i've received outstanding service or completely terrible service several times. In this case, multiple times have I been completely disappointed in this location. My first experience I ordered a snickers blast, the only candy i received was sprinkled on top of the whip cream, NO candy mixed in the ice cream. Not even exagerrating, i got a cup of vanilla ice cream. Second time I ordered a Peanutty swirl with snickers blast, NO SNICKERS, NONE, NOT IN IT, NOT ON TOP, i got a peanut butter ice cream, again. For real? Theres no way this happens twice to me? Not to mention both times I waited over 30 mins from the time it took for someone to answer my call to place my order to actually delivering it to me. Not kidding, i waited so long i had to push the button again to check and make sure they didnt deliever my order to someone else, or to see if they had forgotten about me. The screen had already come up and said your order is being delivered and i waited 20 minutes after that. So today, after the other mishaps, i try again for happy hour. I pull in at 3:15pm, granted its busy, the place is packed, I push the button immediately, were just there for drinks, i understand waiting some. A car pulls in about 3 mins after me and they immediately take their order. Okay, fluke, ill wait some more, i waited for 10 minutes, just for someone to take my order. I pulled out at 3:25pm. I checked the time, because I knew what to expect. No one ever bothered. Time after time, has this location been a money pit and has yet to do something as basic as a drink order correctly. The only reason this location makes it is because its the ONLY drive thru in Aledo and practically the only restaurant. After today i learned my lesson and ill make the 7 minute drive to Willow Park. Im always willing to give several chances for a place to get it right, but this location cannot. read more

We've been here many times and never had a problem! To see so many young adults getting a start in the working world, and to be so professional, respectful, and kind...is awesome! The manager is doing a phenomenal job helping these kids get started in the working world! Food has always been hot, order has been correct, and ice cream/drinks have been perfect. read more

Would not recommend. Only pulled in because I noticed there were a lot of cars, so i figured the food would be hot. Took forever to get my food and I saw 2 managers out back just chatting. Have been to this sonic a few times and the manager is incredibly rude, she is such a smart-alick. read more
