Still a two star. Got a smasher combo. Burger was meh, I paid a little extra and upgraded the side to onion rings...big mistake. They don't change the oil often and fry everything together so the onion rings are horrible and tasted almost like a funnel cake. Not going back anytime soon. read more

My wife and I stop in to our sonic and my wife got a tenderloin and fryes and a drink. I got a sandwich and fryes. We got our food and it costed $29. The size of the fries was real small and the sandwichs where smaller. Way over priced. Never again. read more

I love eating here. It's nice to have the option to eat in your car or take it to go. It's more of a old fashioned order at the car service. Which if your into that, this would be a fun date night go to. There is picnic seating if you'd prefer that as well. I personally love that there's so many different drink options. It's not incredibly pricey for them. The menus change with unique items depending on the season. It's just a great nostalgic feeling. Just remember like anywhere else they are slightly short on help and be patient. Staffs kind and helpful. read more

LOVE this place. An exciting way to do drive thru food even if you're not a kid anymore. This location has plenty of drive in spots (30 ? Idk), a drive thru, and walk up window. They also have a patio with picnic tables. They offer a wide range of your classic meals: hotdogs, corn dogs, burgers, chicken, wings, fries, tots, breakfast, and kids meals. In addition, they have a variety of slushees, shakes, and drinks. I personally love: cheesecake shakes, corn dogs, and their breakfast foods. While our experience with the employees was limited due to ~corona~ we got everything we needed taken care of. Have you ever longed for the " good old days" when life was pure and simple such as drive-in theaters, neighborhood ice cream trunks and yes food drive on in? Well I did--while tooling around local ---I saw a Sonic's which reminded me of the Old Fashion A&W with giant floats and Big Boy's. Those were the days. In fact, I was once. carhop on roller skates--just hoping not to spill the order. Well, Sonic's brought back a little of that nostalgia. There was a plethora of good comfort food to order--I settled on a foot long all beef chili cheese dog--that was hot, gooey, fresh and beyond delicious! Knowing that servers usually get little are nothing in tips--I doubled the high schoolers tip simply because I remember those " good old days just Hoping for a tip and got nothing. So, what's your most nostalgic memory--get up go out and find that local replica--the locals will appreciate it! read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. They forgot to add our shake to our order and then also didn't give us our entire order despite it being on the receipt. The food tastes fine but we're missing half our order and they aren't the sizes we paid for. Very disappointed at the service we received today. Do better sonic. read more

They have definitely improved recently in their speed. They still are a bit slow in getting your order out to you, but the food is always hot and fresh. I really love you can order from the app then just check in when you get there all without having to push the red button and wait to order. Plus they have their happy hour special on their drinks all day on the app. I do like the carhop style of ordering, its an old school take on fast food. read more

Don't even bother. They claim to only have the drive-through open but the stalls aren't blocked off, nor is there any signs saying drive-through only. And when I let them know I had a mobile order, I was told "that ain't even ready." Seriously?? I was only checking in to let them know we arrived. Staff is rude and there's much better places to get food - especially because this is seriously overpriced for the quality. read more

I was sure I had already reviewed this place! Sign up with your email or get the app to get their specials they have fairly frequently. At times the wait can take a bit here, when they have many orders. There is no inside dining, but they do have some tables in front. Friendly staff. Family friendly. Lot parking. Drive through is what I usually do. Fairly clean. Prices good. "FairFood" I love their corn dogs! They also have awesome footlong chili cheese dogs. CyHawkApproved. I do not recommend Sonic. I had to wait 42 minutes just to order my food and then another 26 minutes for the food to come out. The food came out cold and tasted like dead caterpillars. The waiter also had an attitude and was giving me dirty looks. Do not waste your time or your money going to this disappointment. read more

We wanted something late night after a wake and something fast that we could take with us. The food was delicious. The hot fudge sundaes were amazing. The only reason I am giving four stars is that it's really disappointing when you ask for a large hand-full of ketchup to be put in the bag, get the bag and notice that there is no ketchup so you ask again for a large handful and the woman working the window gives you four packets, shuts the window and walks away. read more

Yum! I've avoided this location for YEARS because it used to be awful. Ordering car side is so convenient when you have a family of 5. AND you can pay right there through the menu screen and device. Chili dog.....delicious! I love a good chili dog on a good bun. The bun wasn't all soggy like you'll find at other places. Tots, nice and crispy! Sorry, no pics this time! Horrible drive thru service..decided get a refreshment of drinks, from the get go the Sonics worker just could not get the order right, she would repeat it back to us and it was wrong about 3 times. So we think they finally got it right and WRONG it was a whole show of wrong drinks! They didn't know what a Strawberry Limeade was from the beginning! BAD COMMUNICATION..will not be back! read more

Food is good, but the service is the slowest I've ever experienced for "fast food." They don't even acknowledge you're there (drive thru or stalls). You simply wait & pray that they'll eventually take your order. read more

Multiple issues. Firstly, you're in a farming state, you need to reconsider your space size and height. My duramax is standard height and width and had to baby my truck into your spot to avoid hitting the hangers in the stall on both sides and fold my mirrors in. Secondly, after we got into the bay, couldn't read the menu for it was too low (most people in Iowa don't drive POS fufu cars), so I had to have my passenger get out by backing up and reading off the menu next to us and come over to my side because he could squeeze between the board and truck to pay in your, again, ridiculously low and close menus. Thirdly, darla (the "waitress") came out and we waved her to the passenger side to bring the food to us because there's again no space; she rolled her eyes and came to passenger side and didn't say literally a single word. You really need to reconsider all of the mentioned areas to improve ambience for sure. read more

I waited 25 minutes for 2 beverages and the staff is slow. The communication was bad!

They always have their app turned off so you can't order through the app. No app specials either. I called them and they were unhelpful and rude. They blamed it on corporate so I called them. They told me it's up to the local franchisee to turn on the app ordering system. Seems they lie too. read more

I have been here for their breakfast burritos filled with jalapenos and they are delicious. This was the first time I ordered anything else off their menu. I ordered a chili cheese coney and a Chicago dog....was in the mood for a serious hot dog. The chili cheese coney was average. Was good, but not something I'd bother with again. The Chicago dog, however, was absolutely spot on. Sweet and sour, combined with the beef, was what got my taste buds watering. I could eat one of these every day......and for 2 bucks? This is the only Sonics I've been to in my life and I think its great. It is a neat concept with ordering from a parked spot and having the food brought out. I always see the Sonics commercials and make me want to try their new foods. The burgers, hotdogs, fries, and shakes are great here from what I have experienced. read more

I love their slushies. I get the blue one and then freeze it a little bit at home and then add Vodka and it makes for a tasty summer treat with a kick. BLTs are good..as are the milkshakes. read more

I went at a very busy time, which as a retail worker i can understand a busy & stressful time. i waited in line, no problem! i ordered 2 medium original redbulls with blue raspberry syrup. i paid while waiting in line & got to the window. i was handed two slushy redbulls. no big deal, i just said oh im sorry i didnt specify these weren't suppose to be slushies, just the redbull & syrup. they had no issue remaking it, or so i thought. i was then handed 2 small redbulls with the syrup which was the wrong size & ontop of it, i was not refunded a money difference which there should have been since it was no longer a slushy or a medium. at this point after waiting & already correcting a mistake, my friends & i had to go due to having some where else to be in the evening. after drinking them, we realized they tasted nothing like blue raspberry in the slighest & just seemed like regular redbull.. 8$ for redbulls on ice. i could've gone to a gas station for a can if thats what i was wanting. pretty disapponting, i was excited to try it. read more

I usually visit this Sonic twice a week with no complaints but my order on May 14 couldn't have been worse. My regular order of a mustard style cheeseburger with fries consisted of a piece of meat between the buns and some mustard. No cheese, no lettuce, no tomato, etc. and there were approximately 8 French fries in the container. I didn't notice the errors until arriving home and when I called the restaurant's phone number on the receipt, no one answered. While I truly enjoy the Sonic menu, I definitely won't be throwing my money away at this location again. read more

Just sat at this sonic at the drive thru for 20 mins and nobody took my order. I then drove up to the window and drive thru dude goes sorry we are backed up. I asked to order he said he couldn't take my order at the window. Then asked what I wanted. I replied "food". After another 5 mins of him yelling for his manager who didn't answer I left. I ordered and then waited for awhile. After a little more than 10 minutes my order was cancelled. I pressed the button, reordered and explained what happened. They were really nice and fixed it quickly but then I found that they didn't even give me what I had ordered and instead gave me something else. read more
