As you look at your sandwich it was very eye appealing-- the bun to fish ratio was appealing as well as the crispy deep fry on the fish. However, the seasoning was non describe -- meaning more seasoning to taste needed. Let me start by saying this was my first ever visit to a Culver's and I was really excited by all the unique options they have on offer including choosing your own ingredient combos for the mixers and the many many options for sides! The restaurant was packed so we placed a to go order and got a Roasted Garlic & Bacon Pub burger basket and a Curdburger basket. We got one with extra crispy fries and the other with cheese curds and for our drinks we chose a sweet tea and a concrete mixer. I didn't really care for the concrete mixer, but I think that's my fault because I just chose my two favorite toppings and I think they just didn't go well together. Now I know for the future. The tea was nice. The burgers were okay but there was a lot going on with the bacon burger in terms of tastes and the curd burger just tasted like a regular cheeseburger. The fries were good and I love that they made them crispy like I asked but the curds were the most bland I have ever had. This is a fine restaurant and now that I have a visit under my belt I might try them again but I definitely won't have high expectations. read more

Culver's It's about the food but it's also about expectations. Everyone is understaffed, so I always appreciate the service staff who are working. The staff working were polite and helpful A nice normal Culver's. The restaurant was clean. The service was fast and efficient .The food was good and solid, hot and delicious, and the portions were really normal. I had the Children's meal which included a single patty, small fries and a small drink. I get the root.beer which I enjoy. It includes a scoop of the daily custard or a token. People of any age can order a kid's meal and as a person of a certain age I find it is the perfect serving amounts for me it's about $7.50. I would recommend them. read more

Stopped in for supper and ended up waiting an honest 1 hour and 29 minutes before the order was complete. From the time my credit card recorded the transaction until I had my (redone) burger was an hour and a half. It took 2 visits to the counter before that even get our order. The first time the cashier asked if I wanted a refund, that he could ask the manager, because they were having issues with the receipts not transferring. I said I'd like my food instead. That was after 54 minutes since placing the order. The 2nd time another cashier made excuses. No attempt to get the manager involved. The drive through was getting priority while the dining room crowd was waiting. It took nearly an hour 20 minutes just to get a bacon double deluxe... with no bacon! 3rd trip back. There were a good 15 people working between the grill and the counter, drive up window, etc. Staffing wasn't the issue. Paid over $28 to have to sit for an hour/half to get our food. In the end no more than a half-hearted apology. Drive ups and door dash received all the priority. No manager ever intervened. I am seriously sorry the Arby's down the block is closed. read more

And they keep most of the ingredients on hand, so if there's one flavor of the day(FOD) that you really love, they can make it on off days. I love Sourdough Melts ! Pretty much my go to menu item at Culver's. I love a good cheeseburger however there is just something about a melt. Not a lot of sourdough or melt options out there so I'm glad Culver's has one ! One thing that always makes me wonder... on 8/22/20 we ordered a sandwich basket and a kids meal. we drove home and realized the kids burger was not in the bag. Fortunately this was for an adult and not a child, but that adult is still super disappointed. I called the store and spoke to Eric, I could go back and get one or get one in the future. the problem is I have to remember the date and that I spoke to eric. Stopped for a quick lunch with the kids. Culver's is kind of like a Freddy's. They are known for their butter burger. My 3 year old loveeeed his burger. My husband tried the Reuben melt and I split the chicken finger basket with my 1 year old. Gotta save money here, it's super pricey! It was my first experience at Culver's and I had ordered a couple kids meals. So after my children had finished with their kids meals we went up to redeem our free scoop of ice cream with one topping. The lady who attended to me had informed me that I needed a coupon and I had told her I didn't have any knowledge of ripping the coupon off to be able to redeem the desserts no one had mentioned that to me. So with that being said I informed the lady I had thrown out the kids meal bags and she said no I would need the coupons to redeem them so I would have to grab them from the garbage. For the 2nd time in 2 months, an item was left out of my order. A month ago I ordered a fish dinner with coleslaw. They left out the coleslaw. Today I ordered a shrimp dinner with broccoli. Not our usual dinner time. It was busy for a Sunday- good sign of business. Ordered 3 butter burgers, fries, cheese curds, 1 kid meal, drinks and custard cones. Spent $25.00+ Every time we come here I always know we'll be spending over $20 for a family of 4. Hot and fresh. Served to us right at our table. Everything tastes awesome and as expected as a butterburger should taste. I like their burgers. They are grilled just right, meaty and juicy. Fries and cheese curds are always fresh and salted right. Service is great. They are very polite and accommodating. There was even an employee going around making sure everyone's meals were as expected. I've never seen anyone do that here. Only chick fil a. So I applaud Culver's. This one especially. Keep up the great service and tasty food! Kid friendly for sure. There was a dad and young son having dessert there and they had fun with my kids. For some reason, I feel like this Culver's is on the lower echelon of other Culver's restaurants I've been to. The food (especially the fried foods) never seem to be fresh and taste like they've left it sitting under a heat lamp, which is peculiar since you're given a number and usually told to wait. For whatever reason, there's a lack of fast food along the 22nd/86th st. corridor, so its passable if you're in the area, but I definitely wouldn't bother getting off I-235 if you're traveling. Recently, the service at Culver's has fallen off. This is the 2nd time in a row I've came here and used a coupon and they tell me they will, "apply it at the window." This is the 2nd time a third-party to the transaction swoops in, unknowing of the coupon, and charges me full price. I will wait, again, for the money to be refunded to my card. At one point, there were 4 people standing in the window looking at me like I was crazy for letting them know about how I told them 10 seconds ago at the speaker I had a coupon. The rotating flavor of the day for the frozen custard is nice. I check the website before I go for that day's flavor. Their Concrete Mixers are similar to the Dairy Queen Blizzard. The frozen custard is creamy and I like the wide variety of flavors. Sometimes the drive through seems to be backed up but it's because everything is made fresh to order. Generally speaking, I never have a problem at any Culvers I've visited: Ames, DSM, and the other location in WDM. The staff are friendly and the food is great. I have used the wi fi here in the past and it works well. This location is tucked in between a couple of other places, so it's a tight fit on a street with a lot of choices for food and beverage. read more
