I have never visited this location before but used to eat at the downtown and west Little Rock Arkansas locations back in the early 2000's. Well, some things have definitely changed. While the burgers and fries were close to what I remembered - fairy hot, somewhat fresh and slightly better than your typical fast food burger- red onion, soft bun and crumbled blue cheese (my favorite version of their burger). But what wasn't cool was the fact that the lemonade is no longer fresh, handmade but now it taste like that terrible fountain version that so many places try to pass off as lemonade. I realized that my memories of the burgers were probably boosted by the lemonade so this may have been my last visit for a while. Also, I ordered the double but got a single - we used the drive thru. Probably didn't need it anyway but I still want to get what I paid for. So if you are looking for something different from McDonald's or Wendy's this is an option but don't expect a difference experience - it's still fast food.

If you've never tried their fry sauce, definitely grab some when you pick up your order. It's addictive! My only complaint is that the girl who took our orders rang up and charged us for my dad's order as a combo, when he really only wanted a burger and a drink. We didn't realize until after we already picked up our food, and we were in a hurry to get back on the road, so we didn't complain. We walk in and there are diner style dinner tables with 2 families filling up many spaces, a date night couple and a lone diner. There is a small bar with stools and a special spot for "Mr Murray". Stopped in for lunch the other day and had the macaroni and cheese topped with chopped brisket and asked them to put the sauce on the side because most places just drown their meat in sauce and you can't even taste the beef. There's usually reason they don't want you to taste it. But Tim is VERY talented on that smoker! He was wonderful and honored my request without batting an eye (some chefs get offended). The staff and Tim both chatted with me in between customers and there was a good clip of folks in and out picking up food and raving about it as was I. The sauce is homemade and a family recipe and of course he's serving his grandma's macaroni and cheese, which is different from how I make mine, but it was still really delicious. The best part are the prices - so reasonable I t's not even funny, and I left absolutely stuffed to the brim. Be sure and try their fried pies too, I got a cherry pie to go and it was yummy! I'll drive all the way from Diamondhead on the regular anytime I want brisket because it was just that good. I would've taken photos, but I am held my lunch before I thought to do so.
