    30 min to get order food was cold not good at all Sonic should be so proud .Want be going back there. Building looked gross not clean.

So when I talk about Delta barbecue, I'm coming from a place of love... and pretty high standards. Abe's is part legend, part myth, and all Crossroads. If it's your first visit, let me save you some confusion: yes, the tamales are one of the signature items at a barbecue joint. And yes, they're every bit as good as you've heard. I get mine with chili, slaw, and crackers, and I'll happily eat enough of them to make myself miserable--in the best possible way. Then it's time for a chili cheese dog, a pig sandwich with slaw, and enough sweet tea to float a jon boat. It's probably a good thing I only pass through Clarksdale every couple of months on the drive between New Orleans and my hometown. If I lived closer, my doctor and my waistband would both have something to say about it. This place is famous throughout the Delta for a reason. I've been stopping at Abe's for over three decades, and it has never disappointed.

I had the tamale plate, while my co-worker had the tamales and beans. Service was quick and super friendly, and there's a ton of memorabilia on the walls to look at. If I find myself at the Crossroads again, I'll be back!
