Was heading to a gathering to celebrate a friend's accomplishment. It was last-minute for all of us, so I didn't have a chance to go out and buy a proper gift. I thought I would have to drive a few miles away to either buy the gift or grab a quick bottle of wine to let her know I was thinking about her. I don't like walking into places empty-handed. Then, I spotted this new wine and spirits store. I found a parking space and was able to walk to her downtown condo with ease. The ladies running the store were very helpful in my effort to pick a nice bottle for the specific occasion. I know my friend likes red wine, but I'm better at picking white wine. The whole transaction took five minutes and I arrived at the celebration on time. This specific area has been a difficult hub to grab a quick bottle of wine to present at a get-together and I am glad to know this location is now available for a last-minute purchase. Woot!

Amin is the epitome of a host and guide to a great selection of wines and spirits. The only place I will go when in Memphis..

Large Variety. The guy was very helpful and nice. Prices are very reasonable to be located downtown near hotels. Large store and clean.

Nice store and selection of wines in mid-town Memphis, TN. But nearby parking is hard to find.

That being said, the BetMGM app works inside the casino and has full functionality to place all the bets that you would be able to in any other circumstances. (Some states are less restrictive and you can use the app anywhere, apparently in Mississippi you have to be inside the casino). They have fantastic sportsbook specific customer service agents inside a sports bar and they can guide you through promos etc on the app. There's also a full bar in there and a food menu. Tons of slots all around on the casino floor, (which is actually 2 floors), and all the table games with plenty of tables open on a Sunday night. Most blackjack tables were $25 minimum, I believe there was 1 that was $15. Craps also $15 minimums. Plenty of staff, wait staff passing through relatively frequently. Clean, tidy and professional dealers. Lots of easy parking outside both valet and self parking. Trying to figure out comps can be nebulous at best in a lot of cases, but I feel like it didn't take much to get a couple of meals in the restaurant that was open later in the evening when I got hungry. Food was alright. Chicken fingers, fried catfish, fries etc. Not bad for a free meal. Overall this place is worth a stop if you're passing by and I'd book the hotel if I were passing by just to play a little along the way.

First off, I love tapas-style restaurants so this peaked my interest right when I saw the menu. There is not a parking lot, but there were some street parking and a lot that you have to pay for. We didn't have any trouble finding a spot close by but a weekend might be a different story. Our waiter was the absolute nicest and he answered any and all questions we had about the menu! For our meal, we ordered crispy Brussels sprouts, Goat cheese and Fig Bruschetta, General Homie's Cauliflower wings, and Beef Empanadas. It was very hard to choose! Everything was full of flavor and really tasty, but if I had to pick one it might have been the Goat cheese and fig Bruschetta and the brussels sprouts are a close second. But all were really good! I order the lady love as my first drink, and I'm not much of a tequila girl, but it was mixed really well and you could taste the strawberry. For my second drink, I asked if the bartender could surprise me with a rum-based drink. When I received it the waiter said you should feel like you were at the beach, and it totally did feel like that! Quite delicious. Wishing this restaurant could move to Memphis because I would go back all the time. If you're in town, definitely check it out, you won't regret it!

Not easy to find. But great experience. Great service and tasty food. Can't wait to go back.read more

But my wife wanted to visit the Memphis Botanic Garden for her birthday, and somehow this place turned me into a calm, peaceful woodland citizen for a few hours. First off, the weather was absolutely perfect, which already gives nature a huge advantage. Then you walk the grounds and realize this place is legitimately beautiful. Ducks casually living their best lives, koi fish gliding through the water like they pay property taxes there, birds chirping, flowers everywhere, waterfalls and water features--it's like stress gets checked at the front gate with your $12 admission fee. And let's not overlook the fact that there were food trucks... and one of them was selling cocktails. Suddenly being outside didn't seem so unreasonable anymore. What surprised me most was how peaceful the entire experience felt. It genuinely pulls you away from the noise of everyday life and drops you into this quiet little zen mode you didn't know you needed. Also, if you're planning a wedding or outdoor event, this place is loaded with gorgeous spots that look like they came straight out of a magazine. Seriously, every few steps felt like another "this would be an amazing wedding photo" moment. When the weather cooperates, this place is hard to beat as a happy place. Even for people like me who normally consider "the outdoors" a temporary inconvenience.
