It's a hot Saturday afternoon and the drive thru is packed at this location. So we pull into a parking place and place a very simple order: 1 coney dog, 1 order of onion rings, 1 corn dog with mustard, and 2 cherry limeades. 10 minutes later they come to the car with 2 strawberry limeades and a bag with an entirely different order. We tell them that this is not our order. The girl looks back at us with a completely blank stare as if she is lost in space or not comprehending what we are telling her and then takes the bag with out saying a word. OK. So we sit...and sit...and sit...finally after 15 minutes or so, we ring the bell and ask where our food is. A young man says that he will bring it right out. OK. The same mute girl returns with a bag of lukewarm foot that has clearly been sitting for a while. We get the corn dog. We get the onion rings but we don't get the coney dog--instead we get chili covered tater tots. So we ask for straws for the drinks and again..she is completely mute and finally goes to retrieve straws. At this point, we give up. I know these are young people probably with their first jobs but for Pete's sake, TRAIN THEM! she clearly had no idea how to solve a problem or provide customer service. Ridiculous. read more

Try to order a medium mozzarella sticks, which should normally in the past has come with marinara when I requested three marinaras they charged me $.75 for each marinara sauce so I did not pay and I left. A couple days ago we waited at the box in the drive thru for over 20 minutes and no one answered to take our order. We eventually ended up leaving, because this is ridiculous to have to wait for over 20 minutes. Yesterday my daughter went and when she came up to the window the employee gave her the wrong order and closed the window before she could even correct him. She chose to pull off and not bother with it because she didn't want to hold up the line behind her. Lastly, we went to today and when we got up to the window I asked for military discount and the employee told me she couldn't do it because she already swiped out my order. I left without paying cause this is ridiculous. You shouldn't swipe out an order until it is payed for. I even told the employee that this is on her and she needs to fix it and she said it is not on her and there is nothing she can do and I just have to pay for the drinks. Thus, like I said I refused and left. I will never be returning to this establishment cause the treatment and service here by the employees are terrible. So... was in a rush, so I went here again. I think it's a management issue probably. It's amazing how little the workers pay attention (after making sauce requests - mustard/ketchup - AND the person at the window even read it back to me) and THEN proceeded to give me none of these. I used to go to sonic a lot for the food as well as the blasts. while I went today I was missing a sandwich and I asked for a Reese's sonic blast with extra Reese's. I was just able to eat my blast to only have found that they put ice cream in the Medium size cup with chunks of Reese's on top nothing was blended.. just plane ice cream. This has happened on MULTIPLE occasion. so if you're wanting actual ice cream blends save your money. I have also contacted corporate about multiple of these instances. read more

The coke was full of ice and only had a few drinks in it. 31 Dec 22 - had a late lunch and ordered two Sonic double cheeseburgers with two cherry limeades and a small order of cheese sticks. Had two choices of dipping sauces so I picked the marinera sauce. When I got home they had omitted the marinera sauce so next time I will check my order before I leave Sonic. Both double however were big and delicious. The food here is still ok, but the service is really slow. This used to be my go-to Sonic location too. Something change and I'm guessing it's management because there seems to be enough people working, but it still takes them over 15mins to get an order. Even ordering online and giving them the time that's recommended to pick up the food, I still have to wait to get my order at least 10-15 mins. Drive thru takes awhile to get from the order kiosk to the window and then there's still a long wait. I would like to start my review by acknowledging this sonic's current 1.5 stars on yelp, so I can emphasize just how bad this food was. I occasionally order at this sonic despite it's typically very bad, burned, dry, old, greasy, food made by underpaid high school kids, due to its proximity to my house. I've lived in the area for about 15 years now and this low quality has been persistent, but I occasionally decide to give it a shot anyway. Tonight was one of those nights where I didn't quite want to cook but I didn't quite want to drive so I made the regrettable decision to pick up some sonic. I was immediately skeptical upon realizing that the popcorn chicken I usually order was nowhere to be found on their app, and had seemingly been replaced by "chicken bites". I looked into this online and was disappointed to learn that they discontinued their popcorn chicken in favor of (reportedly) cheaper nugget-like chicken bites. I chose to order some chicken tenders and fries instead, but got a small side of chicken bites to make sure I wouldn't turn out to like them. I was surprised to see they had removed many of their screens since my last visit, replaced with just numbered mobile pick-up stalls. I was pleased to see that after arriving my food was brought to me quickly, unusual for this location. If I could rate lower than a 1 I would, despite the surprisingly fast service. I wish my food had never been brought to me at all. It's hard to rank which of my menu items I would place the lowest. I tried the chicken bites first, and they were in fact very chewy, cold, and didn't taste like real meat. This was more or less what I had expected after reading reviews online, but I was disappointed nonetheless. After getting that out of the way I pulled out my chicken tenders from the bag and immediately felt skeptical of my whole meal. They also were cold, oddly flat, and looked soggy with grease. I was surprised to find out they were worse than the chicken bites. There was little flavor, just a big flat piece of soggy chicken. I couldn't quite tell if it was made of the same processed meat as the chicken bites, or if the chicken was just so bad that it made no difference. I was frustrated to have wasted my time and money on my food as I went to settle for just eating my french fries, and I learned it was naive of me to consider french fries from sonic to be in the clear. They tasted more like tater tots, mashed up and reshaped into fries. They were very light and airy in the most negative way, despite the fact they were soaked with grease. Sonic had apparently been bought out by a new company which seems to be making even worse decisions for an already disappointing company. Despite the fact that they often screwed things up in the past I never reached a point where I refused to ever eat at sonic again, but the only chance I'd ever take this risk again is if they were bought out by a new company that came with positive reviews, or if I developed amnesia. This is the most I have ever felt that 1 star was too kind of a review. Sonic deserved their 1.5 stars before their rebrand, and if the score cannot be negative it at least deserves a solid zero. I don't know enough words with which to tell you not to eat here ever again. I tried to suffer through bits of my food but ultimately it made me sick. Again, do not eat here. If you read this far in my review, you should have decided against eating here ever again, and if you're still consider it I must emphasize it's truly terrible. This is the most poorly cooked frozen food I have ever eaten. I would much have rathered microwaved walmart nuggets. If you were going to eat here you were already settling for a 1.5, don't settle for a zero. read more

So in these crazy days of covid-19 my spouse suggested we try Sonic. I almost thought she had been replaced by a pod person (Remember "Invasion of the Body Snatchers"?). She has always been adamant about not eating in the car. But with no restaurants open for dine-in, she said let's give it a try. We probably should have passed. The average score is 1.5 stars and I get it. I'm giving 2 stars because the servers and person who took our order were fast and friendly. We ordered basic items, cheeseburger combos (one plain and one no pickles). The order came out correctly. I mention this because all to often customized orders (from fast food places) come out wrong. Our order came out quickly and the server reviewed our order as she passed it to us. That's where the goodness ends. The food came out fast, I mean really fast. Clearly much of the food was already prepared. Our fries were luke warm at best (a pet peeve of mine. I expect the fries to be hot). We hit "order" button, let them know and two replacement orders were quickly delivered. Unfortunately, they were no different. I think they had a batch of fries just sitting on/in the (not so warm) warmer bin. The cheeseburgers were similar, the patty was at best just warm. It didn't taste bad, but clearly they had a bunch of patties pre-cooked, so all they had to do was assemble the burger to order. So if you want truly fast food, I guess Sonic may the place to go. But if you are looking for hot freshly cooked food, my experience says go somewhere else. read more

This is our 2nd time here. 1st time was in drive through for around 20 minutes, at about 8-9 at night, 3-4 cars ahead of us. They said that they were having some equipment problems. Tonight we just pulled into the drive-through. We can see two cars sitting in the drive-through ahead of us, after the speaker, so they have obviously ordered. We sit there several minutes and then when we started to leave, someone walked up to our car & said their speaker has been broken all day and they'll be right with us. Then someone else walked over and taped a sign right in front of our face on their drive-through saying it's broken & to pull in a stall. My question is if the drive through has been broken "all day" why just put a sign out at 9:20 at night?? We literally just wanted a bag of ice. I'm not kidding you. We pull into the stall & we have to wait another two or three minutes someone comes on and says they'll be right with us, Then after they tell us they'll be right with us it was several minutes to order. So, we just spent about 20 minutes, no exaggeration, to get ice. This place is full of broken equipment & excessively slow service! read more

The service at the drive-through was non-existent. I initially waited behind another vehicle for a good 5-minutes, then that vehicle just left - not having their order taken. When I pulled up to the menu speaker, I waited and waited. No acknowledgment of my presence, no "We'll be with you in a moment" - nothing. So I left as well. Mr. Manager - maybe you should actually be present during the shifts and teach your charges about customer service. Don't try to use a text coupon. Wow. The coupon said 1/2 off any Master Blast, the establishment said I could only get small. I read the message to her, she said she would check. Then when she came back she had a major attitude, couldn't keep up with my order and was irritated that I was using the coupon. It took FOREVER for the three shakes to come out, and when I tipped $1 on a $7 order, she didn't even say thank you. I realize they are young kids, but being rude because I have a coupon is kind of silly. This was 7/13 at 2:15, in case anyone from Sonic wants to check who was working. I was at stall 18. Thank you. When we get to the location. Then they asked us to pick out something else instead. Every time they keep the change no matter the difference in price and always to sonic favor. ?This time they didn't have any breadsticks so she asked me to choose something else anything on them what you like we chose. So I chose eight mozzarella sticks. The waitress them came back with 4 sticks which is a huge discrepancy in price between pretzel sticks cost and 4 mozzarella sticks cost. We then call the 866 number and sonic told us that if they don't have it there supposed to offer you something else. If there isn't something else you could get your money back. We've never gotten our money back ever from Sonic. I truly don't understand Sonic has excellent commercials that bring you in and want you to visit Sonic. However when you get there they do everything they can to make sure you don't come back. From watering down slushies, not getting your order right to never offer get your money back. read more
