Sounds wild to give a fast food restaurant 5 stars, but as far as fast food goes, the service is always on par, they are always incredibly friendly, and the food is consistent for what you are expecting. I grew up eating at Sonic in South Texas so was very happy when they moved into NKY. Service at this location is inconsistent in that 1 out of every 4 orders is served incorrectly. Anything from missing meat on a hamburger to missing ingredients in a slush. When the order is made correctly it is on point and satisfying. read more

Always super super slow. Currently here and there are 6 employees working inside, 3 which are standing around not doing anything. We ordered our food, took 25 mins to come out. Worst fast food experience by far. Ordered 3 shakes and then waited for about 15 minutes, 7 of which was not moving from the original car in the window. Got to the window and they told us they were out of snickers and they messed up on of the sizes. So I changed mine to Butterfingers. Then they came back with a smaller size. Asked to talk to the manager and they said they didn't have enough for a bigger size (then tell us, don't hand us something cheaper than what we paid for). I literally waited over thirty minutes today for a burger and corn dog, after ordering. I can't comment on the quality of the food because we never got any. We placed an order from a car stall. The woman taking the order was rude and very slow. We were given a total for our purchase and proceeded to wait 20 minutes. I went inside to see if the order was near ready. The three women working (in the restaurant that had only two people eating in it) began to put on a dramatic play for me. They all pretended they had no idea what I was talking about. They had no idea someone had taken an order, given a total and done nothing with it. One told me "sorry. We're slammed." Again, there were two people in the restaurant- already eating- and we were the only car pulled in to a stall. Then they proceeded to carry on with that nonsense. When I prompted them to offer an apology and make the situation better, the woman I assume to be the manager based on nothing beyond her age, was rude and nasty and immediately angry. It became clear that they feign ignorance in order to entertain themselves. No restaurant could stay in business if it employed people this naturally inept. It's a little game the ladies play for giggles and laughs when they are bored. When we questioned the Carhop, it was quiet evident that no one knew anything about our order. The sign says "Now Hiring" which is so funny given the service that we received.
