Location said was out of ice after ordered a Sprite and then requested a medium cup of just ice. Confirmed they were not out of ice for the Sprite, just the ice cup? They said yes. They could not sell me a cup of ice only sell me a cup with drink in it. Said I would like a Diet Coke and then hold the coke. We wanted to pay for full price soda just so we could have ice. They said no. Said it has to have a drink in it. Explained I would pay for 2 and they could put liquid in one and ice in the other, I just wanted the ice from a medium sonic cup to add to my iced coffee. Was told they had to add a little soda to the ice. Guy sent out manager and she said technically she cannot sell us the cup of ice. I think technically she can if we want to spend money and you have the product. Bad review and lost sale over a $2 empty cup with just ice added. read more

I came in just to get a slush. There was a spill drink on the floor I went to bathroom to wash my hands. I came back and the drink was still on the floor and nobody even tried to clean it up. I never seem to get a decent thing other than lemonade out of this location. Tonight my order was cold. I didn't go back as I was eating and driving. It's the one closest to me and I was in a hurry, so I chose this location. The one in Shreveport on 70th St, is always great. Hot and fresh food the few times that I have been there. read more

This Sonic is fairly attractive from the outside with lots of landscaping (crape myrtles were in full bloom) and it is conveniently located next to Love's gas station near a highway exit. Pulled in here thinking we would try the dine in service for the first time, partly thinking service might be a little quicker and partly to stretch our legs after a few hours in the car. None of the Sonics I have frequented offered dine in options but service has always been pretty efficient. The dining area is actually a separate room with restrooms, both bonuses for a Sonic. I thought it was a little unusual to not find a counter to place my order. Each booth has a phone to place the order, effectively the same process as if I had remained in my car at the drive in parking spot. There were only 2-3 other parties in the dining room while there were maybe 10-12 customers outside. No problem placing our order for a large drink, though the phone wasn't any better than the squawk box experience at the drive in booths outside. While waiting for service I noticed the dining room was in serious need of attention--dirty and sticky tables, food on tables and floor, a number of flies, etc. I was glad to only be ordering a drink because I wouldn't want to eat there. As mentioned, service was friendly but it was definitely not efficient. Perhaps they were short staffed on this day but it took an extraordinarily long time just to get a drink. By the time our order came the dining room was empty. If you decide to pay a visit, just stay in your car. The serving area at Subway next door at Love's is probably a better destination if you want to order inside. read more
