Food has always been very good, and the service is always been good. The restaurant is clean and I I've not ever had a bad experience there

Went on Dec 4th Traveling though Got 6 sides same things almost $4 a small bowl no other sizes med or large available Only got a small ladle in each (broccoli, turkey gravy & mashed potatoes) Mashed potatoes where full the rest 3/4 full? You'd think not offering any other sizes they would at least give you a full small bowl and charging almost $4 with tax. I know everything is high but they should have at least filled the bowls all the way up! read more

#32/2022 Another flying J another Denny's This one's been through it through the years it's had great service great food then it's gone downhill but like every other Denny's they do what they can. I came in on this particular morning and I was probably seated and greeted but had to wait a while because they were slammed busy and they did not have enough staff to cover all the tables quickly but it was fine. Their new all you can eat promotion of pancakes eggs and hash browns have been a runaway success many people are coming in for it. I ordered a french toast slam egg soft scrambled and had the upgrade to a ham slice instead of the bacon or sausage. The food was very good which is why I'm going up one to a four star then just a three-star across the board average Denny's Waitresses were very cordial and my professional customers were quite happy. Although the flying J is still trying to come back for a long time it's still touch and go it could be good it could suck this Denny's I definitely would hit up again. read more

Well honestly I have never been a fan of Dennys, it's just not somewhere I would say " hey let's go here!" unless I've had an adult beverage or two and that was in my college years. Some of you understand those days...Traveling this week and living the life of a trucker wife, this place was a part of the truck stop. I was pleasantly surprised by the food. It was hot and seasoned very well, not what I would expect. Our waiter was an older gentleman and he was great, very attentive and he was awesome even met us at the door with to go drinks. So now you might wonder why I would give this place only 3 but let's say that the vents above need a lot of attention...I'll let you wonder about that one. Other than that, the decor was your typical Dennys. The food pictures are truly what we received!! read more

Yikes! The waitress we had was beyond rude. We didn't even get greeted or a simple "hello"! Just "water, coffee, or tea" as a greeting. We asked for a milkshake and she just shook her head no. "No ice cream" is what she said as she walked away.This is by far the worst service I've ever received. Can't remember the name of the waitress, unfortunately. We left a cash tip on the table, and when we checked out it seems like she might've noticed we selected "No Tip" since it was in CASH, and after we paid we said Thank you! No response, just a blank stare from her as we awkwardly walked away. There was a gentleman working there who seemed nice as he took peoples orders, but I heard him telling his workers to get off their phones and do their job. Not to mention I heard another worker complaining that she wanted to leave early. The food was fine, but the service was not up to par whatsoever. Waitress should be happy we even left a tip after her bad attitude. read more

They were actually pretty busy on Christmas Day, but they're still open 24/7. The service was a little slow, but the food came out well. Kudos on the holiday menu. read more

I normally stop at this Location since it's so close to my job. Today has been the first time I have been treated poorly. I was seated as soon as I got there and given my drink immediately. I was quickly forgotten about. The waitress sat 1 person and took his entire order. She took a different tables order after that. She only started to walk my way when she saw me get up to leave. Normally when I come to this location, service is much better. I'm going to stop and think before returning. read more

Our waitress was fantastic. Perfect order and friendly service! We don't eat out much so this was a double treat. I was able to get a small steak, and I can't give enough compliments to the chef! It was absolutely superb! Everyone enjoyed their meal! Good job Denny's in Greenwood! read more

My family and I were on a roadtrip back home to Texas when we decided to go eat at Denny's. We walked in and were greeted with such kindness from the staff! This restaurant not only serves great food, it has tremendous service! If you ever eat here I highly suggest Rufus as a waiter, he was such a great waiter but and even better person. Wish I had more hands, I would give it 4 thumbs down. Butter is not butter. I dont know what it is, but it's not butter. Waitress got our order wrong and then was irritated at us for it.. then almost smashed my friends hand under her food tray when she slammed it onto our table. Food was awful.. the only thing worth eating were the hashbrowns and eggs. Unfortunately, we found an eyelash in our eggs after eating halfway through our meal. Do yourself a favor.. drive the extra way to Shreveport and eat some decent food. read more

I'm a HUGE fan of Denny's...as a matter of fact, I prefer it to IHOP. I like IHOP; I just prefer Denny's. Took the fam to this new location (as of 2010) located inside the Flying J Travel Plaza Truck Stop in Greenwood, just off of Interstate 20. We hit this place, before going down the road to the "Gators and Friends" Alligator Park, just down the road from the Flying J, about four miles. Our waitress here was super nice and helpful! My wife and I both ordered Grand Slams with a HUGE bowl of Grits also, and we let the bebe girl eat off of our plates. It was a good fill up before going to see all those alligators chomp down! read more

Grand slams are great! Good variety of food choices. Always clean. Most complaints seem to be from those that think roadside restaurants are five star gourmet eating establishments! Denny's is simply good food, good variety, clean and, most of the time, fast service so you can get back on the road without breaking the bank! read more

This was kind if disappointing. Hostess was busy waiting tables, so we stood and waited to be seated until another waitress finally came and seated us. We ordered coffee and she brought it to us with no silverware, my husband finally went and got us silverware. We had breakfast here, and it was OK, but the service was seriously lacking. read more

Skip this one for your own good. Saturday, 6/27/15, around 11 a.m., my husband and I tried to have breakfast. It's located within the Flying J Truck Stop. The place was not filled, no waiting lines. We got our coffee and waited 45 minutes for two omelettes. The waitress kept apologizing. When we finally did get it, both were missing parts of the order like hash browns and biscuits, plus his had two shriveled up slivers, not strips, of what used to be bacon, and his eggs had some kind of filmy crust on them, plus both meals were cold. We paid for our coffee, tipped the waitress, and left. We've eaten at many Denny's over the last 30 years, but this one was by far the worst experience we can recall ever having in one of their locations. We've also contacted Denny's about this, because you can't fix a problem if you don't know about it. They really need to anonymously shop this particular location. No excuses now. read more
