Dear Sonic of Hobbs (Turner location), Good gawd please fix your intercoms so I don't have to practically put my lips on the speaker & continue to yell. This is a huge problem every time I come here. It's probably because no one turns their vehicles off. So today I tried to order a "Pink Lady." They couldn't hear me. "A large Pink Lady please?" No go again. So I thought I'd try saying it the was Sonic advertised. "Can I get a large 'Pink Drink'?" Still either didn't "hear" me. "This is the fifth time..." They didn't know what it was. Neither did I. I just saw a friend gush about it on social media & thought I'd try it on a whim. Afterwards I learned that the "Pink Drink" was advertised on their Facebook page back on 5/11/2023. It's just Sprite with cherry, vanilla & sweet cream add-ins. Guess social media hype is lost on Hobbs employees. This location is faster & usually cleaner than the one on Dal Paso St. One of the best carhops works here. She always smiles & says "have a blessed day." I appreciate that. TIP Use their app for 1/2 price on certain drinks & slushes any time. read more

Food was good their shakes are delicious! The staff are extremely nice! I love the ambiance! I'd do again!

There are 2 Sonic drive-ins in Hobbs. One on Turner, more central location; and another on Dal Paso on the slightly northern East side. Both are good. Service similar. One on Turner is slightly nicer in appearance. I live a Sonic cheeseburger ! They actually put some salt and pepper on it! I love it with the jalapeño cheddar poppers and a Dr. Pepper with it! Yummy! Little slower than a regular drive through restaurant. read more

Sonic on Turner...the girl that took my order was rude ah...I ordered a mini blast with butterfinger...I was going to also order a drink and a corndog but she cut me off said the total and I hit the button again to tell her I wasn't done ordering and when she finally answered she said I'll be with u in a minute. She never said anything back..so the carhop brought out my "butterfinger blast" that was just vanilla ice cream with butterfinger sprinkled on top. Iv lived in hobbs my whole life..never had a complaint about sonic..ever but whoever u got taken orders and making the stuff need to be moved to washing dishes or something because she made me not Wana go back... read more

I waited for 1 hour for them to come out and all I ordered was 2 corn dogs 1 large cherry limeade and mozzarella sticks and so I waited then I decided to order again cause they taking long then she came out with 1 drink and mozzarella sticks and no corn dogs and charged for double for everything and they were not busy at all I was the only one there at the time I recommend corporate look into this immediately read more

Credit card machine broken, ice cream machine broke!? Why not just turn off the lights and head home! Lackluster service a real turn-off....typical Hobbs issues. read more

Service has greatly improved since my first visit, and I have to say maybe it was because they have new workers? Anyway, all the girls working there are nice and friendly, and my orders have come out correctly and quickly. All I can say regarding getting good service is, watch what time you come here. If there are a gazillion cars parked, there may be a delay in service. read more

We went here last night I asked them if they had garlic parmesan wings. They said yes but them came out and said no so I had to order something else. Then when they brought our food out they forgot part of it. The young girls working there seemed more interested in talking to the guys then delivering food. The service was also very slow. read more

The service is alright, it could be much much better. The food is yummy, except for when you order ice creams or slushies, apparently nobody knows how to mix everything properly, so half the contents is at the bottom. The ordering signs are almost all out of order except the ones that are close to the buildings and because there the only ones that ever work, there full 99% of the time. read more

So disappointed in the Sonics in Hobbs and Lovington. Their limeades are Sprite with a lime wedge. HOW IS THAT A LIMEADE???? Other Sonics actually use lime juice to make their limeades. read more

After waiting five minuets just have my order taken and than fifteen minutes for my food to come out the server than takes my food to another vehicle allows the man to put his hands all over my popcorn chicken and tots!!!!she than tried to serve it to me absolutely disgusting.....u don't know if that just picks his nose or went to the restroom without washing his hands.....needless to say I left with out that contaminated food!!!! read more

This Sonic is horrible. Took almost 30 minutes for 2 drinks. There were only 4 cars there. The car hops spent more time talking to friends that had shown up or they were on their phones the whole the time. Worst service and the car hops were rude and so was the girl taking orders. read more

Sonic has good cheeseburgers, chicken poppers, jalapeno poppers, and ice cream. You can't call in orders a head of time any more, which slows things down. Sometimes the wait is really long, even when there are not that many people. Friday and Saturday nights teenagers congregate around there and hang out. There was a fist fight, while I was waiting on my order the other night. There is some inconsistency in the food. All in all, it is an okay place to go. There is no indoor seating and very limited out door seating. read more
