Don't miss this hidden gem! Locals seemed to frequent Casey's. The waitress already knew what they wanted. The restaurant is owned and run by some older people who still were hustling to get everyone's food and kept the coffee refilled. No printed menu...just tell the waitress what you want...I ordered eggs and bacon and it also came with hash browns. The eggs were cooked perfectly! There was one regular who started talking to us and then went and got his food and ate with us. He was a funny and fun character. He had so many jokes....one for every letter of the alphabet....and more! The owners have a huge collection of Coca-Cola memorabilia. The decor is in showcases and the place is well lit. We arrived before they opened and there were others already waiting for them to open. We highly recommend this fun friendly place!!! read more

Was looking for a place for a quick bite to eat. Came across this literally hidden place. As always, when there's a patty melt, I shall try it. It was a grilled cheese sandwich with a patty in the middle. Not a patty melt, not even close to a patty melt. The fries were amazing, though, slightly well done, perfect crispy to salty ratio. The chicken tenders were not bad either. Gravy as a dipping sauce is still something to get used to, though. The ambiance was killer, though, like a 50s diner. The best part honestly was the ice tea, unsweetened to its glorious perfection. The only downside was the 40-minute wait for the order. We had the time, so it wasn't a killer to their place. So it's a great little spot, a decent selection for food choice. Service was slow, but sometimes that's ok. read more

After finding this little gem in the Casey's Mini Mall it was a delicious experience. When we walked in we were immediately greeted by the associate who took our order. We found a table and they brought out our drinks. The service is great and the atmosphere is relaxing. Coca Cola signs and puzzles on all of the walls. I ordered kids meal burger with fries, my wife ordered a kids meal chicken strips with fries. It took about 30-40 minutes for the order to come out but they had tons of orders before us. I don't think there was maybe one empty table when we walked in. The amount of food for the price is worth the wait. When we come to Hobbs we will be eating there again. One can never really go wrong with Casey's in Hobbs, New Mexico. It's kind of a throwback diner located inside a strip mall downtown. They have so much Coca-Cola memorabilia everywhere. The employees are always real nice. Place is always kept clean and tidy. You can add things like green chili to any burger. The tater tots are way better than their fries. The also fry some decent onion rings. Breakfast is served from 7am-10am. But lunch is served all day until 2pm during the week and 3pm on Saturday. Closed on Sunday. There are very small restrooms at the end of the hall going towards the back parking lot. Casey's is a Hobbs classic! Fantastic burgers! Henny Penny's which is a battered, seasoned and fried potato wedge--only ones in town. The breakfasts are good. My sister loves the taco burger. Came here for breakfast while in town for work. Definitely a place that has a lot of regulars and locals. Very old-timey vibes. Lots of Coca-Cola memorabilia everywhere. Menu is is up on the wall, pretty simple menu with good prices. I had biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon. It was pretty good, large portions too. The only thing that I didn't like was that they don't take cards! Cash or check only- which I didn't know until I got to the register... luckily I did have cash but the lady at the register was very nice and even told me I could pay another time if I needed, which was super nice to offer. I'd like to come back and try the lunch menu next time! read more

This place deserves 0 stars for customer service. We waited about an hour and ten min for our food & finally left when we could no longer wait. Asked for updates twice & was told "we will call you when its ready". I cant believe they can stay in business when they cant get food out or at the minimum tell people how long the wait is before they order. This place is really cool. First off, this restaurant is nestled in a small mall type building and walking felt like walking into a home. Really cozy and I truly relaxed for the first time in a restaurant. Ordered breakfast and enjoyed sitting there looking at the decor. Service was great, laid back and again felt like being in my Grandma's dining room. Food was good. Ordered biscuit, egg and bacon sandwich and tasted like homemade biscuits. I love Casey's...great burgers, great "50's diner" style food, very friendly staff, good service. They have limited hours, but when I can get there, I go. They are terrific. I love the decor, and in terms of local establishments, they are VERY clean (which is sadly not the norm here in Hobbs). The one down check...they are cash only. That is a significant negative (cost a star, I would have given 5), as there are not a lot of ATMs in their area. read more

We have been eating here for over 25 years with great hamburgers and fries and cold sodas. Visit around the dining room and look at the huge Coca-Cola memorabilia. Come in place your order and sit back and enjoy, specials on Tuesday is Taquitos and a cheese sauce, made by hand and Thursday's you get again made by hand enchiladas, cheese or beef along with beans and chips. ALL hamburgers are delicious you can not go wrong with their burgers! Great mom and pop shop. Just FYI, THEY DON'T TAKE CARDS...JUST CHECK OR CASH. I am sure it is posted but I didn't find out until it was time to pay.
