I'm sorry but I received the worst customer service ever here. Unfortunately the bad reviews are true here, this place is run by kids, who couldn't stay off their phones long enough to bring me my food or to get me a straw when I asked. I've worked in customer service, so I know sometimes everything bad happens all at once in fast food, but I don't know why it took me 10 minutes to get me a straw and some honey mustard (which they gave me one, so I'm super happy about that too.......) I don't know I'd rather travel an hour each way to go to the Willow Grove Sonic, because when done right, Sonic has really good food. This time though my receipt had everything accurately, the bag was not at all accurate. No sauces or condiments, no straws.. they packed it to go with nothing that we needed. It took us way too long to get our food, I was actually debating if this was a fast food restaurant or TGIFridays on a Friday night..... Anyway... I could've had a nice time if the woman was nicer, I would've over looked the fries instead of tots, and the non-stirred milkshake, no condiments, nor straws... But a kind person goes a long way.. Me my friend and friends mom wanted a a simple and quick order. We waited 45 mins. We rang the bell to talk to the worker and they hung up in us whike we were talking. They also forgot out cheese for our pretzel. And they said "here you go its cold tho" And closed the door. 10/10 DO NOT RECCOMEND. read more

When Sonic came to this area I was so excited, because we would always see commercials and they weren't local. I'm not really impressed with there food. There sweet green tea is really good tho. Now my kids love Sonic! They love the pretzel hot dog. Maybe I am not picking the right things to order. They forgot to give me two things that we ordered today. Also I asked for real fruit smoothie and I got a milkshake instead. Even tho I don't really care for the food I do go for my kids because they really do like it. What I do like from there is the concrete ice cream which is almost like a blizzard. Maybe I will just have to explore the menu more. read more

i don't care what anyone thinks!! this is a delightful place with a lovely NEW staff and the delco people who don't get it....and stop coming in ! someone actually complain on the grand opening, that it was crowded...are you kidding me?? sonic has to feed an ECOSYSTEM!!! just because yo9uo had to wait 8 minutes means NOTHING to me!!! Unsure why the low review, what's is not to love about SONIC!! I feel in love with this place in Texas so when it moved up north I was ecstatic. It's typically always consistently good with great customer service. I normally go for onion rings and a frozen lemonade strawberry slush and am never disappointed. I like this location particularly because it has a drive thru which makes for faster service, the one time I saw the line backed up they had employees come out to work as cashier and deliver. read more

This is absolutely the worst fast food restaurant I've ever visited. Don't waste your time or money. Once they've gotten your order wrong, it's a virtual certainty that your food will arrive cold. I stopped ordering tater tots because they are dredged in salt, only to find the fries are always delivered soggy and cold. They must be under strict orders to ALWAYS put whipped cream on the shakes, because last time I said no wc on ANY shakes and said no wc when ordering each individual shake, yet all of them had whipped cream. The only reason they get 1 star, is that it's an invalid review with zero. The only thing they get right is the $2 bags of ice. Save yourself the frustration and eat somewhere else. read more

Let me say first that i love sonic and was pleased to have one 15min away from me. I use to stop almost four times out the work week for breakfast and lunch which i can nolonger do because the wait time is so long. There have been several times i am n the drive thru for 15 mins after already ordering. Which now im running late for work. I recently went there on my lunch break to get just a milkshake and was n was waiting again almost 15 mins jus for a shake.Also they are supposed to open at 6am and been there at 630 and there still not open yet. I don't know if all the sonics suck as the one on macdade blvd. does but they need to get it together or hate to say jus close down. Its the absolute worst.. read more

I understand the complaints people place out, however, at the end of the day, it is a FAST FOOD CHAIN. It gets irritating when people compare Nifty Fiftys to Sonic. It is quite obvious that a more well constructed restaurant is going to receive a better rating. There menu items are more expensive, thus it is conspicuous that the quality of the food is more outstanding. I occasionally go to sonic for there DELICIOUS oreo milkshake with no whip cream and cherry. Highly recommended! read more

Food is decent, sometimes not so hot, but overall its decent. Car hops have always been nice and have no problem getting you anything else you need. I like that this location has a place to eat inside, the other sonics i've been to haven't had this feature. read more

This sucks.... For years we have seen the commercials for sonic but always had to drive 45minutes to an hour to get to one from around here. Finally we have one and it's horrible. Unlike any other one I've been to. It's ran by kids, and if their is adults here they aren't to familiar with what a sonic should be like. The service is shotty to say the least. I feel like they are in such a rush to get done cooking the food just to get a break again so all of the food comes out under cooked. Tots are soggy and not even the least bit crispy any time I've been here. They taste like a sponge soaked in oil. My hot dog was gross, stale roll and the inside was showing signs of not even being heated all the way. My peanut butter shake tasted like vanilla and so did everyone else's, the bare minimum of peanut butter at most. This is the biggest failure to hit mcdade blvd since the mcdade mall. Such high hopes just to be let down once again. People of Kmart will be the only weekly customers here. read more

Burgers wise eeeh... I ordered double burger,sweet tea, chilli dog, new york dog, strawberry sundae and mango slushed. Not the best fast food for the buck. Burgers dry hot dogs ok. If you wanna try something new i would recommend it but beside that eeeh. read more

The shakes are great, 4 star easy. The crew there is very nice. So go there for a treat.....but the food is fried garbage. The chicken is almost all deep fried breading. The grilled chicken feels and tastes like a sponge. So shake it up, but that's all. read more

Two time failure. Both times I asked for burgers with all the veggies and various condiments for the family. Got home the 1st time & had some plain. Second time when I picked them up I asked the carhop if they all had lettuce, tomato & pickles. Got home & found some plain again. Burgers tasted ok (better than some other fast food), but never got the order right. I like having what I ordered. read more

Skip it, there's better stuff out there. They have never gotten my order right. If you order a 6, you only get 4, then they try to say you ate the other two. If you manage to get your food, there will be no dipping sauce, or dipping sauce that goes with a different food item. (Ranch on a breakfast burrito?) Should you physically go inside, don't touch anything, the majority of their customers eat via the car-hop, or drive-thru, so they have SEEMINGLY NEVER CLEANED THEIR DINING AREA. The manager, or the teenager claiming to be the shift supervisor is not someone I would trust to prepare food. read more

Don't waste your time going through the drive thru! Never ever get your order right even after they repeat it back to you! How do run out of cup carriers. How am I supposed to carry 4 milkshakes while I'm driving??? Ask for bacon on my hot dog got onions and was charged for bacon!!! Won't be returning anytime soon! read more

II went to sonic this afternoon. Usually the foods good and so is there shakes. Today my food was cold. There was a tomato in and on TOP of my cold burger. Fries tasted like they were refried and my shake wasn't fully mixed. It was all Awful. read more

They really went above and beyond for me today, so I had to give them a 5-star review. I've only been to this location once before. I recently visited another Sonic and got a really good sandwich - the chicken club toaster. I asked them if they had it. The girl seemed unsure but after a few seconds (of probably asking someone what it was and how to ring it up) sure she said, no problem. I know it isn't on their menu and they were just trying to make me happy by making it and I really appreciate that. It's on the toaster bread and has chicken fingers, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo and I highly recommend it! Thanks for making me a great lunch Sonic! read more

went through drive thru and ordered chili cheese tater tots. took 20-25 minutes. why does it take that long for tater tots?

I like the atmosphere; pull up spots to order like the "good ol' days", a drive thru and a place to order and sit. This place would be fun for kids. I also like the "happy hour" specials they have, half price drinks from 2 to 4, really you can't beat that. The prices are really cheap. The drinks are pretty good especially if you are looking for a quick sugar fix! I think they claim to have like 500,000 drink combos or something like that. I have tried coke and ice tea mixed with different flavors, I will say some were good and some not so much. Stay away from mixing ice tea with syrup, just not good. The milkshakes are good for fast food and they have a lot of flavors and mix ins (I actually don't know how they fit all this stuff in that tiny kitchen they seem to have). I think mixing the drinks are probably the best part of this place. The food is just OK and the quality of the food meets the prices. Cheap prices equal cheap food. Don't expect anything fantastic, if I had to choose between a burger from here or McDonald's, I would go with McDonald's. The hot dogs are good though, I would recommend a pretzel dog.
